Duggar Family Reacts To Josh’s Arrest: Trying To Hide It?

As we previously reported, Josh Duggar was arrested on Thursday, April 29. It’s unclear why he was arrested at this time, but there is no bail. This is leading fans and critics to speculate that the reason for his arrest is pretty bad. Of course, nobody knows for sure what exactly is going on yet.

While everyone waits for word on what happened with Josh and what’s next, the family has been reacting to the news too.

Duggar family members share regular posts amid Josh’s arrest.

While most of the Duggars are staying silent following Josh’s arrest, a couple of them have shared new posts on Instagram. On Thursday evening, after the news broke, Jinger Vuolo and Joe and Kendra Duggar shared posts.

In Jinger’s post, she’s talking about recording her audiobook.

On Joe and Kendra’s shared Instagram account, they shared a few new family photos and talked about how they haven’t used social media in a while. You can see the photos here.

It’s possible that Jinger, Joe and Kendra already had their posts scheduled for this specific day and time. They might have used an app to schedule the photos to post at that time, and if they didn’t see Josh’s arrest coming, they wouldn’t know to unschedule anything.

They’re also limiting their Instagram comments.

On Instagram, users have the option to limit the comments they receive. They may only be able to receive a certain number of comments on each post, or only certain users can comment. This is a way that some users, especially celebrities, can restrict the number of negative comments they receive. Some members of the Duggar family have used this social media feature in the past. Now, they are using it again.

Joe and Kendra, Anna, Claire, Jason, Jana, Joy, Jedidiah, and the Duggar family have all chosen to limit their comments. Some Duggars have decided to leave their comments fully open, but they could be deleting comments about Josh’s arrest. There don’t seem to be too many comments about Josh on Jinger’s post, for example, but it would take a while to keep up with deleting all of the negative comments.

His arrest could be bad news for TLC and fans of Counting On. While TLC hasn’t stated whether the show has been renewed, it’s possible that it could be canceled since no news has come yet. Some fans speculate that TLC knew about the arrest before it happened and chose not to renew the show for that reason.
