Josh & Anna Duggar Announce Pregnancy & Baby No. 7’s Gender
Josh and Anna Duggar have officially announced that they are having another baby! Fans have been speculating about this for months, but the family is just now sharing the news.
On Instagram Friday evening, Anna shared a new post. It includes a short video, which features the gender reveal, as well as a family photo. In her caption, the Duggar daughter-in-law writes, “We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way.”
Fans first began speculating about Anna’s seventh pregnancy in February when Jessa Seewald shared a video from her son Henry’s birthday. Shortly after Jessa posted the video on YouTube, fans and critics noticed that Anna looked pregnant. Right away, Jessa set the video to “unlisted,” which means it can’t be searched for. Only people with the link can view it.

In a new Instagram video, the family reveals the baby’s gender. They planned a sweet and unique gender reveal. Josh and Anna are holding an umbrella. As they pop it open, pink confetti goes flying. From the background, their six kids come running toward them. Anna excitedly writes, “It’s a GIRL!!!!!” Then, she adds, “We can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!”
This is the couple’s fourth daughter. They currently share Mackynzie, Marcus, Michael, Meredith, Mason, and Maryella. The kids are each about 2 years apart, and Maryella will turn 2 in November. So, it seems like the couple is sticking with the same age gap as they always have. While the family has already used up lots of “M” names, there are still plenty more for them to choose from.
Though Anna doesn’t share her exact due date, it sounds like the baby will arrive just before Maryella turns two. Hopefully, Josh and Anna will continue to share updates about the pregnancy.
In response to the big announcement, fans are sending their best wishes to the couple. Fans suspected that Anna was pregnant, based on the video from Jessa back in February. They’re excited to know that they were right and that Josh and Anna will be adding another baby to their adorable family.
