‘Bringing Up Bates’ Star Announces Engagement – Who’s Getting Married?
The Bates family is growing again! One of the Bringing Up Bates kids announced their engagement on Thursday. So, who is tying the knot next?
Katie Bates & Travis Clark engaged
On Thursday, Us exclusively revealed that Katie Bates and Travis Clark are officially engaged. Travis popped the question at The Reach, Key West, in Florida in a beautifully decorated gazebo. He set up a sign that reads, “Will you marry me?” As he proposed, he played and sang a song he had written on guitar. Both sets of parents were present at the engagement on Wednesday, April 7.
This exciting news comes about a year after Katie and Travis began courting. They seem to be looking forward to taking this next step in their relationship.
Bringing Up Bates couple chats about their engagement
In a statement to Us, Katie says, “April 7, 2021, will forever be a special day for both of us. Taking this next step in our relationship is something we have prayed about and have looked forward to for a long time! We are excited about what God is doing in our lives, and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for our future.”
Later, Katie explains how special the day was for her. She says, “Travis put so much effort and thought into making this day perfect for me — from the beach backdrop to the venue and decorations to the beautiful song he sang! It was absolutely magical, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!”
Travis talks about how exciting the day was for him too. He explains, “Our engagement day was so much better than I could’ve ever imagined, and I know there were many friends and relatives who worked behind the scenes to help make it all possible! Seeing Katie’s reaction was the highlight of the evening! Her smile was worth it all!”
Bringing Up Bates fans are very excited about Katie and Travis’ engagement. Fans seem to like the young couple together. So, naturally, they wish them a happy life together.
