Nothing seems to be certain and things are continuously changing within The Bachelor franchise. There’s still a need to fill hosting duties for Chris Harrison amid the racism scandal. Many options have been suggested for After the Final Rose but so far nobody has been named the step in host. Aside from determining that since it will be filming shortly, other issues are continuing to plague the franchise. Shakeups are happening all over. Not only has Chris Harrison stepped down and possibly for good, there is now shakeups involving The Bachelorette.

Shakeups continue within The Bachelor and The Bachelorette

Reality Steve continues to put out information he finds on what fans can expect from the franchise. With the show filming exclusively at resorts, it’s been hard for spoilers. This can be good and bad. Many fans want to know now and not wait for information. The exclusivity and lockdown mode has made most spoilers nearly impossible. However, Steve has done a fairly good job of at least getting the big stuff out.

Now, he’s reporting even more shakeups happening behind the scenes. A few weeks ago, news made its way around the internet that Katie Thurston was being named The Bachelorette. Fans adored her for standing up to the mean girls on Matt James season. However, amid the racism scandal that is currently taking over Bachelor Nation, Katie may not have the job. Steve is saying with everything going on they changed their mind on Katie and are scrambling to explore their options.

They are also reportedly pushing filming back a week for The Bachelorette. According to Steve, The Bachelorette will start filming the second half of March. Many feel doing this puts Michelle Young in the running for the lead. Steve definitely feels that some of Matt’s finalists are now in the running for the job. There are still many unanswered questions and nobody is entirely sure which direction production is leaning at this point.

Plus, recall The Bachelorette was set for filming in Canada. Since Canada released new guidelines for travel due to COVID-19 that location has also changed. Now, Steve has learned where the show will most likely film.

Where will The Bachelorette film?

Reality Steve went to Twitter today to share where he is pretty confident The Bachelorette will film. He also has said many people might be disappointed with production’s choice. According to Steve, the show may film at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico. The location sits approximately 20 minutes outside of Albuquerque.  He has not confirmed this location 100% but remains fairly confident. Once it’s confirmed Steve will inform fans.

And, he also shared no decision has been made regarding a host for The Bachelorette.

Who do you want to see as the new lead? What do you think about the show filming in New Mexico?

Stay tuned for more updates.
