Despite Controversy Chris Harrison Not Cut From ‘The Bachelor’ Tonight

C

Oh boy, did The Bachelor bring the emotion tonight. When Matt seemed to be having doubts about Serena and her feelings, Chris Harrison was there to give him some good advice. He said, talk to her now rather than later. Chris talked to him before the rose ceremony about how he was feeling about the remaining women, as well. This answers the question a lot of Bachelor Nation had before tonight, would Chris’s recent controversy mean his scenes were cut from the show?

The answer seems to be no. Not only was he present in this episode, but he was also in the upcoming previews as well. He’s asking questions to the girls in what is shaping up to look like a juicy Women Tell All. He also talks to Matt who seems to be having a hard time. This came as a surprise to one fan who said, “this episode of the bachelor not even addressing the situation was a [sic] let down.” Matt James recently broke his silence on the controversy.

Matt James Broke His Silence On Chris Harrison And His Comments

The current lead, Matt James broke his silence on Chris Harrison and the controversy recently. Matt James said the situation is, “devastating and heartbreaking to put it bluntly.”

He supported Rachel Lindsay as she, “painstakingly and patiently tried to explain the racist history of the Antebellum south.” Racheal Kirkconnell attended an antebellum party. Chris said it isn’t a good look now, but maybe back then it didn’t look the same. He said there were different lenses and he knew a lot of people who attended those kinds of parties.

Chris is in the previews quite heavily. So, despite stepping down from the show, it doesn’t look like he will be cut from any of this season. There are rumors The Bachelorette is being pushed back to give Chris more time.

Not Everyone Is Against The Reality Star Host

Not everyone is being so hard on Chris Harrison. The Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams said at first it affected her. But she truly believes Chris meant every word of his apology.

One fan tweeted, “not sure who needs to hear this but the Bachelor Franchise is nothing without #ChrisHarrison.” Another said, “So sad to hear Chris Harrison will be leaving. He has carried the show for years and it will just not be the same without him.” One more post said, “you can’t have the bachelor without Chris Harrison, just like you can’t have American idol without Ryan Seacrest… they go together like peanut butter and jelly.”
