Amber Johnston Joins Valentine’s Day Challenge & Tells Her Love Story
7 Little Johnstons stars Trent and Amber Johnston took part in a Valentine’s Day Challenge and dished on their love story. It’s been a week for reminiscing and looking back down the years. Now, Amber shared a card with two photos on it. It revealed the two lovebirds from 26 years ago and then again on Friday this week. And, they hardly changed a bit. In fact, 26 years and five kids later, fans who bumped into their old selves would probably greet them on the street.
7 Little Johnstons – Valentine’s Day Challenge Q&A
Just a day before the Valentine’s Day challenge, Amber shared a throwback photo of the whole family. Taken 10 years ago, it revealed the kids looking very young. TLC fans loved it as they saw that cute bunch of little kids with their mom and dad. Interestingly, a lot of people felt that Trent and Amber hardly aged at all. But her next set of photos highlighted that even more. Taken 26 years apart, clearly, both of them come with strong anti-aging genes. This time though, her photos came with a range of questions and answers about their relationship.
Amber’s caption read, “Here’s our love story. #ValentinesDayChallenge.” And then 7 Little Johnstons‘ mom added a long Q&A list. So, what did fans learn from that? Once again, she confirmed that they first met when she attended high school. As reported by The Mirror in 2015, she confirmed they met at a meeting for Little People of America. But something new emerged in the Q&A. He actually invited her on behalf of a friend. But, they instantly liked each other, became friends, and knew they were meant for each other.
Trent & Amber Johnston married four years after meeting
Although the TLC stars met 26 years ago, they only married four years later. Still, 22 years of marriage obviously means they know each other very well. So, the fun reveals came, like who cooks better, drives better, and who’s the most “competitive.” Well, TLC fans probably figured out already that Trent’s the most competitive. And he just knows he’s a better driver, which Amber didn’t dispute. But for sure, Amber confidently claims victory in the cooking stakes.
According to Amber, Trent’s also older, taller, more stubborn, and more impatient. He also claims he’s the better “morning person.” While Amber appreciates Trent’s sense of humor, he probably likes the fact that she’s a neat and tidy personality. Meanwhile, neither of them lay claim to being the better “singer.” In fact, The 7 Little Johnstons’ mom says. “we def need to keep our day jobs!” Oh, and there’s something you might not know. In her Valentine’s Day Challenge, Amber also revealed that they attended different schools. And she met and fell in love with him at the age of 16.
Other random facts about the 7 Little Johnstons couple
Despite Amber admitting that Trent’s the better driver, when they travel somewhere together, she takes the driver’s seat. Meanwhile, Amber chooses where they dine out. And, another tidbit mentioned is the fact that the 7 Little Johnstons couple once traveled all the way to Siberia.
