Season 3 of the TV adaptation of Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King is coming

Good news is out for Stephen King fans, as the TV adaptation of the third in the Mr. Mercedes trilogy is coming to Peacock. Season 1 and 2 were well received by fans who can now look forward to Season 3, which is based on the book Finders Keepers.

Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King

The first two seasons of Mr. Mercedes followed the story of investigator Bill Hodges on the track of the evil Brady Hartsfield. Brady had killed a queue of job seekers with a stolen Mercedes car – hence the name. Hodges and his trusty partners, Holly Gibney and Jerome manage to stop Hartsfield from blowing up a concert. In fact, Holly bashes the serial killer over the head, causing massive brain injury. However, this wasn’t stopping Brady in his evil plans.

In the third season of Mr. Mercedes, a beloved local author, John Rothstein is found murdered. During the crime, the killer steals unpublished novels by the author. When Rothstein is found dead, Hodges, Holly and Jerome join the local police on the hunt for the killer.
