‘Bachelor’ Couple Shares Six Year Anniversary
While 2020 wasn’t great for everyone, some Bachelor couples really thrived. Now, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are celebrating their sixth year of marriage. How sweet is that?
‘Bachelor’ couple celebrates six years
According to Us Weekly Desiree talks about her relationship with Chris on the podcast, Here for the Right Reasons.
“Six years, it goes fast! I feel like with Chris and I, you know, if we met outside of the show, we would have ended up together anyway,” she reveals on the podcast.
“But I think one of the key things — especially with newer couples because they have a different amount of social pressure — I think it’s honestly making the relationship a priority and not becoming famous, like, stop caring about your Instagram followers. And if you love the person, then make that your priority and maybe move away from L.A. rather than moving to LA.”
Desiree was on Season 17 of The Bachelor. However, she was eliminated on week 8. Then, she was chosen as the Season 9 Bachelorette. Of course, this is where she met her now-husband. Since then, they have had two children and six happy years.
Not everything is happy in Bachelor Nation
Of course, not all Bachelor Nation relationships are going so well. In fact, former Bachelorette Clare Crawley has just broken up with her fiance, Dale Moss.
Clare and Dale fell in love quite quickly on The Bachelorette. Then, they ended up getting engaged and leaving the show early.
However, this may not have been the right decision. It seems that maybe she should’ve stayed on the show the full time to make sure Dale is really who she wants to be with. This split comes because they have different lifestyle wants. It seems this possibly could’ve been avoided if they were able to talk more before getting engaged.
“They are both still getting to know each other and figuring it all out,” a source says about the couple’s split. “They’ve decided to take some time apart for now… They are still figuring out the logistics of their relationship and if they will stay together.”
Hopefully, they are both alright after going through this tough situation. They both deserve the ultimate happiness in life.
