June Shannon Spills Beans On ‘Mama June: Road To Redemption’
WEtv fans have been wondering when to expect a new season of Mama June: From Not to Hot. Fortunately, June Shannon recently decided to spill the beans on Instagram. And, it turns out, we won’t have to wait too much longer for another season of one of our favorite WEtv shows.
June Shannon declares Mama June is back soon
“We’re back this March!” Mama June declared in an Instagram post this afternoon. The post features a short promo video revealing Mama June: Road to Redemption will premiere in just a few months. The promo clip was brief. But, it included a few heartbreaking scenes featuring June and her family.
Mama June could be heard explaining the reason she wasn’t there for her family was simple. She hit rock bottom. We suspect Road to Redemption will involve fans watching Mama June’s climb back to the top.
How did From Not to Hot end, anyway?
It was just a few weeks ago when we speculated when the series might return. If you didn’t tune into the last installment of the Mama June saga. Or, your memory is a little foggy. Here’s our recall on what happened last:
From Not to Hot ended with Pumpkin giving her mom an ultimatum about her drug addiction. Meanwhile, Honey Boo Boo went off the deep end about her dad’s new wife Jennifer fighting for custody of her.
We know that followers of June Shannon have watched her climb out of her dark place in real life. She and Geno went to rehab. Likewise, she’s been sober for nearly a year. Fans had been wondering for a while if the show would return. Fortunately, the name Road to Redemption says a lot about what we can expect from this next installment in this family’s saga.
Are fans excited for Road to Redemption?
The promo clip was viewed over 12,000 times inside of eight hours. The video also accumulated several dozen comments. Some fans admit the short promo clip broke their hearts. They feel for Honey Boo Boo. Others made it clear they aren’t looking forward to seeing more of Mama June.
Mama June, however, did have some support. There were some fans who were thrilled to watch her climb back to the top.
