Joy Duggar Answers Fans’ Top Questions About Motherhood & More
Counting On star Joy Duggar Forsyth is opening up to her social media followers. On her Instagram stories, she gave fans an opportunity to ask her some questions. Then, she went back and answered a handful of them. Here’s what the Duggar daughter had to say about motherhood and more.
Do Joy Duggar and Austin Forsyth have a TV?
When a fan asked Joy about watching TV, she revealed that she and Austin have a smart TV, but they don’t have cable. She says that she lets Gideon watch movies and shows. But she adds, “One of our ‘New Year Goals’ is to limit his movies to just 3 times a week.”
Fans often wonder if the Duggar kids end up getting TVs. This is because Jim Bob Duggar has openly shared that he’s not a huge fan of them. He and Michelle Duggar had one around the time they got married, but they got rid of it so they could focus more on each other. Later, the family decided to get a TV to watch wholesome shows. So far, it looks like Jill Dillard lets her kids watch shows and movies on her laptop. Jinger Vuolo apparently has a TV too.
Joy gives update on YouTube channel
Fans of the Duggar family might enjoy watching videos on Joy’s YouTube channel. But she hasn’t uploaded a new video for a while now. So, a fan asked when she would be sharing a new video.
Joy reveals that she was in the middle of filming a couple of videos, but she isn’t sure if she should still post them. So, she is hoping to film more videos to upload soon. Of course, she’s got two little kids at home, so she’s likely busy.
Joy Duggar shares insight into motherhood & marriage
Several of the questions that Joy received are about being a mom and raising her two kids, Gideon and Evelyn, with her husband Austin Forsyth. One fan asked about the transition from one to two kids. She says that it’s not too difficult now. Then she adds, “I’m thinking it’ll get a little harder when they’re both mobile.”
Another fan asked if her relationship with Austin has changed since they had kids. She writes, “I think it’s VERY important to keep the fire alive in our marriage. Since having kids, we have had to be more purposeful in spending time together. Date nights, communicating, etc.”
