Is ‘The Family Chantel’ Returning For A Third Season? What To Know

But a new report suggests that a season renewal could happen. Chantel Everett and her then-fiance Pedro Jimeno introduced viewers to their families on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance. She fell in love with the Dominican Republican native, much to the chagrin of her family. They were suspicious of Pedro’s actions. Their dueling families led to the successful spinoff.

Originally, the show focused on the drama between the Everett family and Pedro. But by Season 2, all eyes were on Royal Everett’s now-wife, Angenette. Some wondered if she was just marrying him for a green card. It’s a tale that fans have heard before. The success of The Family Chantel even led matriarch Karen Everett to get her own spinoff show, Ask Mama Chantel, which premiered on Facebook Watch in the fall of 2020.
Season 1 of The Family Chantel premiered on July 22, 2019. And then Season 2 premiered on October 12, 2020. Due to the 14-month gap between seasons, fans wondered if the network renewed the show. This caused the cancelation rumors to swirl by the summer.
However, it made its return in the fall television lineup. Thanks to its steady ratings, the second season did well. According to TV Deets, the show’s ratings remained steady throughout the season. But filming could get delayed for Season 3 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Family Chantel Season 3: What to expect
Despite the drama, the Everett family seems closer than ever. Most of the couples on The Family Chantel are still together, according to their Instagram accounts. Chantel and Pedro have overcome their marital problems. Also, Royal and Angenette have seemed to set their drama aside.
Both couples post happy and loving photos of themselves on social media. They quashed the rumors of a split because of the Everett family. It looks like both couples are set to return for a third season. Even parents Karen and Thomas look happy and in love more than ever.
The entire cast could make a return for the third season. That includes River and Winter Everett, Jah, and Lydia, and Nicole Jimeno. Since Nicole’s new relationship with Alejandro had its own plotline, the couple could return.
A third season is likely thanks to the dedicated 90 Day Fiance fan base. Karen’s quips and popularity have also led to the success of the series. In the meantime, Chantel has become a popular influencer on Instagram. She has amassed over 709,000 followers on the social media app.
Besides, Season 2 closed with some dangling storylines. Nicole’s relationship with Alejandro has been under scrutiny. Angenette’s arguments with the Everetts have made for entertaining television and left fans wanting more.
