Mario Lopez Is A Sexy Colonel Sanders in Lifetime Movie
Yes, this is real. Mario Lopez just made your 2020 a lot better.
“Saved by the Bell” star, Mario Lopez, will be playing the role of Colonel Sanders in Lifetime mini movie “A Recipe for Seduction.”
The 15-minute movie is a sponsored collaboration between Lifetime and KFC. A Recipe for Seduction is the first custom branded content from Lifetime. The film will be apart of Lifetime’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” lineup.
And the plot is just as great as the movie poster.
“As the holidays draw near, a young heiress contends with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mother. When the handsome chef, Harland Sanders, arrives with his secret fried chicken recipe and a dream, he sets in motion a series of events that unravels the mother’s devious plans. Will our plucky heiress escape to her wintry happily ever after with Harland at her side, or will she cave to the demands of family and duty?”

KFC Spices Up the Cable Network
KFC’s CMO, Andrea Zahumensky, released a statement saying that the film is a “perfect excuse to curl up at home and escape to your own happily ever after.”
The movie seems like the perfect distraction from everything that’s going on right now. Which is exactly what Zahumensky was aiming for.
“But let’s face it, we could all use a little distraction this holiday season, so why not fill your time at home with a suspenseful drama and the comfort of our world-famous fried chicken?”
KFC is no stranger to amusing people with their antics.
Three years ago, The “KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog” was released. The firelog was “designed to make your home smell like fried chicken and feel as warm as an Extra Crispy drumstick.”
And of course, it included a warning as the Firelog scent “may result in a craving for fried chicken.”
The Firelog is still available for purchase at Walmart or Amazon.

A Recipe for Seduction premieres Sunday, December 13th, at 12 PM EST. The movie also features actors Tessa Munro, Chad Doreck, and Martin Mandela.
Following the premiere will be a special encore presentation of “Feliz NaviDAD” also starring Mario Lopez.
“Feliz NaviDAD” stars Mario Lopez as a single father who finds romance with a musician when his daughter and sister play matchmakers during the holidays.
