‘Bachelor’ Alum Lauren Bushnell And Chris Lane Expecting First Baby
There’s another Bachelor baby on the way! Lauren Bushnell is pregnant with her first child with husband and country singer Chris Lane. They both announced the exciting news on social media today that their family is growing.

Lauren has made it clear she wants to be a mom. She and Chris married in October 2019. In a post this past summer she said, “We got engaged about a year ago and y’all, I don’t know what I did to deserve this man. About to get personal but I am very excited to start a family and get asked when we are having kids ALL the time but it just hasn’t happened yet.”
She said Chris asked her if she prayed about it. Lauren said, “I said, ‘Well, yes,’ and he responded, ‘Have you really prayed hard about it? If that’s what we really want, pray, and know it will happen in God’s time if it’s what He wants for us!! I’ll pray with you!’ I am so lucky I get to wake up next to you every morning, lucky I get to pray next to you and am continually humbled by your heart of gold.”
It finally happened! Lauren and Chris shared a video of her ultrasound on Instagram. She said, “A dream ☁️ Except I’m not dreaming. I’m wide awake. Holding your dads hand, watching you dance around in my belly. Listening to your little heart beat. My new favorite sound. A miracle. New life. Our sweet baby. Thank you Jesus! All the glory belongs to You 🙏.”
Chris shared the same video on his own Instagram and said, “Prayer works! Hope you look like your Mama 🙏🏻 @laurenlane.”
Fellow alums react to the news
One of the first people to congratulate the couple was Lauren’s ex, Ben Higgins. He said, “Congrats! What a thing to celebrate!” JoJo Fletcher also responded saying, “😭😭😭 so happy for you both!!!” Lauren Burnham, who is also tryin to get pregnant, said, “Ah Lauren I’m so excited for you guys!!!😭🤍.”
Many other Bachelor alums also responded to their post. They include, Ali Fedotowsky, Trista Sutter, Lauren Zima, Caila Quinn and Catherine Giudici.
Lauren appeared on The Bachelor with Ben Higgins. Ben proposed to Lauren on the finale. They even lived together in Colorado. They decided to part ways after realizing they weren’t right for one another. Lauren went on to meet Chris and Ben met Jessica Clarke. Ben popped the question to Jessica this year.
