Kelly Dodd’s Mom Dines Out Just ONE Day After Hospital Discharge
Kelly Dodd has made headlines for her comments about the coronavirus pandemic. And fans think it’s karma for her mother ending up in the hospital. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, they blamed the RHOC star for giving her mom COVID-19. However, it’s not clear how Kelly’s mom, Bobbi Meza, contracted the virus.
On Friday, November 27, Kelly’s brother confirmed that their mom dined out one day after being discharged from the hospital. According to reports, Bobbi ended up in the ICU. It’s concerning, since she’s 71 and has health issues. Eric even asked his followers for prayers for a successful recovery during this difficult time.
Kelly’s mom dines out after COVID-19 scare
Kelly Dodd’s brother confirmed that their mom dined at Mastro’s on Thanksgiving Day. He claims that she wanted a steak. This comes just one day after she was discharged from the hospital after testing positive for coronavirus. In a series of posts on his Instagram Stories, Eric shared photos and videos of their outing.
Eric shared a photo of Bobbi eating at the restaurant. He wrote: “#HappyThanksgiving. Not your traditional TG. But she was craving a @MastroOfficial.” Eric agreed to bring Bobbi out to eat even though she’s been battling COVID-19. He followed up with a series of photos of Bobbi with himself and his brother.
In addition, Eric shared an update on Bobbi’s health on his Instagram feed. He told his followers that she has been “discharged from the hospital” and “beat COVID-19.” Eric felt grateful, especially on Thanksgiving. Kelly’s brother thanked his “sibling/brother who has my mother’s back.” It’s unclear whether Eric’s comment was a dig at Kelly Dodd.
He then added that his brother “practices what he preaches.” Then, Eric had an important message for his followers.

“For anyone you know who may have COVID19 And they are prescribed Methylprednisolone, it’s IMPERATIVE to check with your Endocrinologists if you’re type 1 or type 2 [diabetes],” Eric wrote. “This steroid is very dangerous and is the main reason why my mother ended up in ICU. Please be careful out there. Wear your mask, wash your hands, Take Vitamin D, Zinc & Vitamin C.”
In his lengthy message, Eric thanked his followers and friends for their “positive thoughts and prayers.” He then ended it with the following post-script: “this isn’t just the flu.” Despite Eric’s warnings, no one was wearing masks in the photos taken at the establishment.
Fans lash out at Eric and Kelly Dodd
Real Housewives Confessionals shared the details on its Twitter page. Fans stormed their tweets and shared their thoughts. Some of them deemed Eric and Kelly Dodd as “unresponsible.” This comes amid Kelly’s controversial comments about the COVID-19 pandemic. She continues to not take face masks or the pandemic seriously on social media.
Not only is it unresponsible, but it’s also dangerous. Any patient who’s been discharged from the hospital after having COVID-19 must quarantine for 14 days. This guideline is explicited stated on their website. Also, Bobbi’s doctor must’ve warned her about leaving her home and potentially exposing others.
But she didn’t follow her doctor’s orders because she wanted a Thanksgiving meal. One fan called it “reckless endangerment.” However, another fan finds it “hard to believe” that Bobbi was in ICU.
