Lala Kent Sides With Braunwyn In Kelly Dodd Feud
Lala Kent called out Kelly Dodd. As RHOC fans know, Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke are in a feud. Though the two were never close, it’s obvious that they are not good friends. Braunwyn claims that Kelly unfollowed her on social media because of her political viewers.
However, Kelly has denied the claims. She thinks that Braunwyn is a “phony” when it comes to sharing her views. She also doesn’t like how Braunwyn promotes her “modern marriage” on social media. Now, Lala is sharing her thoughts on this feud.
The Vanderpump Rules co-star knows a thing or two about reality TV feuds.
Lala Kent is on team Braunwyn Windham-Burke
The model addressed Kelly’s feud with Braunwyn on the latest episode of her “Give Them Lala … With Randall” podcast. Lala Kent slammed Kelly Dodd for causing a “rampage.” Then she went into explicit detail about what Kelly did to Braunwyn. This is something that viewers haven’t seen on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“[Kelly] went on a rampage on [Braunwyn],” Lala explained. “She was passing her house, filming her license plates, asking her if she pays taxes because she has Florida plates and I thought it was so gross.”
“I don’t like when reality TV stars don’t know the difference between, ‘We’re filming,’ and ‘You’re kind of harassing me,'” she continued. “It’s an invasion of privacy.”
While Lala thinks Kelly is “awesome to watch” and makes for great television, she feels that she’s gone too far. Lala thinks Kelly should take a break on social media in between filming. She feels there needs to be a fine line between reality TV and reality itself.
“When cameras up, we don’t need to draw the line. You’re getting paid,” Lala said. “I’m getting paid. I’m getting paid. Let’s do the damn thing. When cameras shut down and they’re like ‘great season guys,’ give a f***ing rest. Please, give it a rest.”
Lala admitted that she has a “soft spot” for Braunwyn because they’re both recovering alcoholics. The Give Them Lala founder feels that no one should mess with the RHOC star right now. Considering that Lala is a recovering alcoholic, she could understand how this drama could make things difficult for Braunwyn.
Then the Pump Rules star wondered if Kelly would go after her next. Lala’s fiance, Randall Emmett, playfully warned her it could happen. She assured Kelly that “it’s nothing personal.” But Kelly may not feel that way.
Braunwyn previously reached out to Lala
Last month, Braunwyn revealed she reached out to Lala Kent for sobriety advice. In a past episode of “Give Them Lala … With Randall,” Braunwyn talked about their previous encounter.
“I messaged Lala probably two or three days [after deciding to become sober]. I knew she was sober and I found her on Instagram and said, ‘Hi, I’m Braunwyn. How did you do this? Can I do this?'” Braunwyn explained.
Braunwyn said that Lala was “so sweet” to her. She responded to her fellow Bravo celebrity right away. The mother of seven also revealed that Captain Sandy Yawn from Below Deck Mediterranean gave her advice as well. She credits both reality stars for helping her get sober.
