Joy Duggar Tells Why She Doesn’t Wear A Wedding Band
On Saturday, Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth shared three new pictures of herself and her husband Austin Forsyth. These photos are from a recent photo shoot the family had once their daughter was born. Over the past couple of weeks, both Joy and Austin have been sharing some of the images from the shoot. And of course, fans love to see them.
In Joy’s latest post, the pictures are of herself and her husband without the kids. Joy is wearing a pale pink dress and Austin is wearing a chambray button-down shirt. Joy writes:
“’He just needs a companion.’ Austin’s mom told this to me when we were dating; It’s so true. He just wants to have somebody with him and I love this about him! I’ll be your companion any day, baby.”
In the comments section of the post, Duggar fans are sending their love to the couple. They think that the new photos are great, and they hope that Joy and Austin continue to share more. Fans also love Joy’s caption about being Austin’s companion.
Duggar fans wonder where Joy’s wedding band is
In the photos, fans spotted Joy’s engagement ring. But, they can’t see her wedding band. One fan writes, “So, do you just get an engagement ring in this belief? I didn’t see a band with her ring.” This Instagram user seems to think that Joy and Austin’s religion has something to do with Joy not wearing a wedding band in the photos.
Joy shared her response, which includes an eye-roll emoji. She writes, “🙄 no, my fingers were swollen during pregnancy and I haven’t put my wedding band back on.”

Several fans got upset with the user for asking that question too. They are surprised that the fan even noticed that she wasn’t wearing her wedding band. Plus, they think that the question doesn’t matter enough to ask about it. Once Joy responded, other fans chimed in and said that they couldn’t wear their wedding bands after their pregnancies either.
Fans also remind Joy that she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. She often receives questions about all areas of her life, and she may not want to share everything with the world. Nonetheless, the curious fan is thanking Joy for her explanation.
