Joy Duggar & Austin Forsyth Welcome Baby Girl
Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are now parents of two! Their new baby girl joins two-year-old brother Gideon.
The couple welcomed their second child to the world on August 21, but they didn’t share the news with the world until August 24.
On Monday, August 24, Joy and Austin shared a couple of sweet photos of themselves with their newborn daughter. The first one is a selfie that appears to be taken shortly after birth. Then, the second picture was taken later by someone else. The baby is wrapped in a floral print swaddle with a matching bow on her head.
In her post, Joy writes, “To say my heart is full is an understatement. We have been dreaming of this day and are so happy to announce that our baby girl arrived August 21st at 2:12pm weighing 8lbs 5oz and is 19.5” long! She has the best personality, is easy going and loves to be held!”
She continues, “She has her nights and days mixed up, but honestly, I love it! Getting to spend that quiet, quality time with her through the night has been SO special!”
Per E! News, the baby was born without complications. Both Joy and the baby are doing well after the hospital birth. As of right now, the couple isn’t sharing the baby’s name.

Joy Duggar’s latest pregnancy update
Joy kept her followers up to date throughout her pregnancy. Leading up to the arrival of her baby girl, she shared a few photos of Gideon sitting on her baby bump.
She also said that she and Austin were “impatiently awaiting” the baby’s arrival. Fortunately, they didn’t have to wait too long after the baby’s due date. She was originally due on August 19 but came two days late. Late in her pregnancy, Joy revealed that she was having Braxton Hicks contractions.
Baby girl is Joy and Austin’s “rainbow baby”
Sadly, prior to having this baby, Joy lost a baby at 20 weeks gestation. This unexpected and tragic loss was very hard for the couple. They named the baby Annabell Elise.
Now, the two have welcomed their “rainbow baby.” This is a term for a baby born after a miscarriage or loss. They are very happy to have their little girl in their arms now.
