‘LPBW’ Star Matt Roloff Rolls Out Interesting Wildfire Concept

LPBW matt Roloff

LPBW fans know that Matt Roloff’s a hand-on practical kind of guy. Always busy with one project or another, he spends a lot of time thinking. And now, the Little People, Big World star thinks a lot about all the wildfires in the USA. Actually, he dreamed up an interesting concept for fighting the wildfires that devastate so badly this summer.

LPBW- Matt Roloff likes challenges and logistics – interesting idea

We reported last week that Matt Roloff thought initially, that a Pumpkin Season in Roloff farms wasn’t feasible. But, he seemingly enjoys challenges. So right now, he thinks up ways they can host the season given the limitations of COVID-19. That seems very much a part of Matt Roloff’s character. If he’s not tackling one project, he goes off and finds another one that he brings into reality.

Now, the LPBW star thought beyond his own immediate needs. In fact, he shared an interesting concept when it comes to fighting the wildfires. It’s no wonder that the Little People, Big World dad thinks about the fires. After all, CNN reported, “At least 35 people have died in the West Coast wildfires, including 24 in California, 10 in Oregon and a child in Washington state.”

Out there idea proposed by Matt Roloff?

Anyone who grew bored and wandered around the internet probably came across the photo that Matt shared on his Instagram. It shows the massive airplane graveyard in Tucson Arizona. Matt explained his idea. He wrote, “This photo of a desert base (plane graveyard) in Tucson Arizona stores thousands of old retired military aircrafts in the event they are needed again for a Great War.” Noting that some of them are carefully preserved, he wondered if they could get used to fight the fires.

The LPBW star suggested, “Some can be retrofitted as fire fighting planes using water bags —- can you imagine having 400 – 500+ old B1 bombers all loaded with 2000 gallons of fire retardant just waiting to be deployed to the next western state wild fire?” And, he also suggests that volunteer pilots on standby could run out to fly them to areas needing assistance. As the TLC star notes, “the fires wouldn’t have a chance with that overwhelming air support.”

Is that a feasible idea?

The concept sounds a bit out there. But, some fans agree a possibility exists that it could work. One said, “Yes, and get Airforce pilots fresh from the academy to fly them, or retired vets. Great training program. ✈️ 🔥.” Another fan commented, “I believe anything is possible @mattroloff. I would hope that whatever it would cost financially to get these beasts ready for action would be worth it to whoever can make that call. Think of the lives and property it could save not to mention the land and wildlife.”

What do you think about Matt Roloff’s suggestion? Do you think anyone with influence might listen to the patriarch of LPBW? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below.
