’90 Day Fiance’ Star Biniyam Faces Visa Setback

With the latest drama between Ariela and Biniyam, 90 Day Fiance fans are concerned for her and her baby. The midseason teaser trailer saw Ariela having to suddenly give birth by C-section in the next episode. Biniyam truly wants the best for Ariela and their child, but he has a problem. Even if he wanted to travel to the US with Ariela, it seems there is little chance. Moreover, it looks like his previous marriage is part of the problem.

90 Day Fiance star Biniyam and the USA

Recent episodes of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way have seen Ariela worried about her upcoming delivery. She is also concerned about where they will live. Fans have criticized Ariela, believing she is belittling Biniyam. However, there are problems on both sides. For instance, Biniyam has a cheap apartment for them – it’s just not quite ready to move into. Meanwhile, Ariela wants a spacious, modern apartment that costs way too much.

Obviously, if Ariela and Biniyam could move to the USA, things would be much easier. However, it turns out there is a problem, and it relates to Biniyam’s former marriage to an American woman.

Ariela met Biniyam on a visit to Ethiopia and fell in love. She later found she was pregnant. This made Ariela decide to move to Ethiopia to be with Biniyam and have their baby. Like Ariela, Biniyam’s ex-wife Bria also met him in Ethiopia. She became pregnant and had their child but eventually left Biniyam taking their son with her.

Ariela’s mom, Janice, believes he has promise as a responsible father. While his various jobs are not high-paying, he does make a regular living. However, Ariela took him to look at an expensive apartment, costing almost triple his monthly salary. At this stage, Biniyam lost it completely, telling her “I’m done.” Let’s face it, the only way this couple can live together comfortably is if Biniyam relocates to the USA. It turns out he can’t.

Biniyam and his former marriage

As with Ariela, Biniyam met his ex-wife Bria in Ethiopia and she became pregnant. They were later married, but there was a misunderstanding about Biniyam talking to other girls. Bria left and went back to the USA. The plan had originally been for the Ethiopian national to move to the USA. Bria’s sister was getting married and Biniyam applied for a visitor’s visa to attend the wedding. However, it was refused.

Biniyam and Bria’s baby suffered from gastroschisis, where the child’s intestines and other organs protrude outside the body. It wasn’t possible for Bria to give birth to the baby in Ethiopia and she had to have him back home. Biniyam again applied for a visitor’s visa to be with her, with no success.

The 90 Day Fiance star did finally get to America to see his son. However, this was on humanitarian parole and not on a visa. As noted by Screen Rant, Biniyam was likely denied entry to the USA because he is resident in a third-world country, Ethiopia. Reportedly the couple did get together again in Ethiopia with their child, but after jealousy claims, Bria once again left for the USA.

Biniyam’s talents might be useful to him for employment in America. However, it is unlikely he will be successful with yet another visa application. This is especially so as he will be applying with yet another American wife. With Ariela having problems living in Ethiopia, it doesn’t look like there is much hope for this fan-favorite pair. It would be truly awful for Biniyam to lose a second child.
