Lauren Burnham Tries For Second Baby After Recent Miscarriage
Lauren Burnham is getting real on her journey to having a second baby. Apparenlty the Bachelor star miscarried back in May while trying to conceive for a second time. Now, she’s using this experience to try and inspire others.

Lauren and Arie Luyendyk Jr. have been trying for their second baby for the last few months. However, it hasn’t been smooth sailing. Apparenlty Lauren miscarried back in May. According to US Weekly, she has been feeling pretty discouraged about conceiving since then.
“We have been trying for a couple of months,” Lauren writes on Instagram. “I know it’s not been long yet, but since our miscarriage we’ve wanted another baby so bad.”
Last month, Lauren revealed that this is their second month of trying for a baby since the miscarriage happened.
“This will be our second month [of trying],” Lauren reveals. “I was always afraid that it wouldn’t work. I think that’s kind of a valid fear if you’ve gone through something like that or just a fear of having to go through it again.”
Even though they are trying for a second baby so hard, Lauren is still scared of being a mom of two instead of just one.
“I’m honestly scared,” she shares. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘OK, yes, we can do this. It’s going to be great. Alessi needs a playmate.’ And then other times, I’m sitting there, like, ‘Oh my gosh, how am I ever going to manage doing everything I’m doing now with another baby?’ So I think I just have to jump in head first!”

Lauren wants to help others
Now, Lauren Burnham wants to use her story of miscarriage to inspire others going through some of the same things. She says that she is very hopeful for what the future hold for their family.
“I think now I’m in a place of peace with it,” Lauren says. “I feel positive about the future, and I always want to be open with everyone and I think that by doing that, you can help a lot of people. And I don’t think it’s something that should be taboo and people should be afraid to talk about. So I always try and make an effort to talk about the uncomfortable thing.”
