’90 Day Fiance’ Star Asuelu’s Sister Offers ‘Proof’ The Reality Show Is Fake

Asuelu and Kalani of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?

Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata appear to be short of money on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? In recent episodes, we have seen Asuelu’s mother and sister complaining that he isn’t giving them money. As a Samoan, it is traditional to send money home to the family but he gave his mother very little. Since that episode, Asuelu’s sister has spoken up. She wants to offer “proof” that the reality show is “fake” and that they receive money each month.

90 Day Fiance stars Asuelu and Kalani and cash

So far on the TLC “reality” show, Asuelu has reportedly been working part-time handing out frozen treats at a health store. Hardly the type of job to support a wife and two young children! They don’t exactly live in a shabby home and Kalani isn’t working. How then is Asuelu providing their daily bread?

90 Day Fiance fans will recall TV Shows Ace revealing a secret about Asuelu. While on the TLC reality show, the couple is struggling financially, he actually has a good job. It was recently revealed on the show that Asuelu had landed a job with Siva Pasefika, a Polynesian dance company. When contacting that company to fact-check, it was found that he has been working for them for two years. Now we learn more about Asuelu and Kalani and their apparent lack of money.

Asuelu and Kalani fight with Lesina and Tammy

Fans will remember the arguments between Asuelu and his mother, Lesina, and sister Tammy on the latest episodes. Lesina is angry with her son and feels entitled to money from Asuelu, which is a part of Samoan culture. Younger people in the family should always help their elders by sending them cash.

During a recent visit to the family, Asuelu doesn’t bow to pressure and tells his mother he can only give her $100. He says he is a married man and his wife and two sons are his priority now. Asuelu needs to pay the bills and buy food for his family and cannot afford to support an extended family.

90 Day Fiance star Kalani stands by Asuelu

While Kalani’s father is Samoan, and she understands the tradition, as an American-born woman she is against the idea. She says Asuelu works part-time and doesn’t have the requested $1,000 to spare. Lesina gets pretty nasty after this, accusing Kalani of getting pregnant to trap her son and saying she “doesn’t care about the kids.”

Meanwhile, Tammy finds Kalani controlling and calls her lazy. At one point she even tries to lunge at Kalani. By the end of that part of the episode, Kalani makes it clear she will not help Asuelu’s family financially. She stresses that “No one has a place to tell me how to run my family.”

Asuelu’s Samoan sister speaks up

Another of Asuelu’s sisters is apparently getting fed up with the lack of reality on the TLC show. She has recently revealed that her brother does, indeed, send money to their mother and their extended family in Samoa. In fact, she says she has proof of that fact.

As noted by Screen Rant, Paepaealofa Pulaa has spoken out about the storyline and the fights on the TLC reality show. She says contrary to what Asuelu and Kalani say on the show, her brother is sending money to his family in Samoa. Paepaealofa says she has wire transfer receipts from Asuelu as proof of that fact. In fact, Screen Rant shares a series of images relating to the payments.

It turns out she, Asuelu, Tammy and their sister Rosa are all sending the family financial help, even as recently as this month. In fact, the Samoan sister mentions how they lock the house and keep the cash in the fridge to keep it cool. Paepaealofa is proud to say she has “got too much money in the bank.”

Asuelu’s sister suggests the recent arguments about money on 90 Day Fiance are, in fact, scripted. Paepaealofa wants to tell the world that she and her father are the only ones benefitting from the TV show. She adds, “They just act only but THEY send the money over to Samoa for me and my dad to spend it all.” If a fake “reality” show can benefit Asuelu’s family, why not?
