Duggar Fans React As Jill Dillard Prepares To Send Israel To Kindergarten

Jill Dillard is getting ready to send her five-year-old son Israel to kindergarten! He’s the first Duggar to go to public school. So, fans are sharing their thoughts about the big change.

In February, Jill shared the news that Israel would be going to kindergarten in the fall. Later, Derick and Jill shared some insight into their decision so fans would understand what’s going on. Plus, Jill asked for advice as her son starts school. Of course, fans shared lots of helpful tips and tricks to make the transition go smoothly.

In response to a negative comment, Derick explained their choice, saying, “We do try to prayerfully consider each step we take and not just run on autopilot.”

On Instagram, Jill shared a picture of Israel in a cart at Walmart. He’s holding his school supply list and a pen. Jill comments on how fun it was to go shopping together. One Duggar fan responded to the photo, writing, “You can tell even from under his mask that he is so excited.”

Jill Dillard prepares Israel for kindergarten

On YouTube, Jill shared a new video as she and Derick took their sons Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3, shopping at Walmart. They decided to stock up on school supplies so Israel is ready to head to school shortly. The family all wore masks in the video.

In the video, Jill shows the family picking up all of the items on Israel’s list. Israel says that he’s “so happy” to be going to school soon.

Duggar fans praise Jill for sending Israel to school

When Jill first revealed that Israel would be going to kindergarten, fans were happy to hear the news. They think it’s great that Jill is doing what’s best for Israel and the rest of the Dillard family. Because the rest of Jill’s siblings have opted to homeschool their kids, they applaud Jill for focusing on her son in particular.

They think that Israel will do well in kindergarten, and they think he’s very bright. They’re also looking forward to updates throughout the school year.

Fans have been very supportive of Jill doing her own thing and stepping away from some of her parents’ strict beliefs. They love the “new Jill.”
