Jill Dillard is currently under fire for taking videos of herself while driving. Her kids are also in the car with her. Duggar fans are calling her out for putting her kids’ safety at risk.
On Friday, Jill revealed that she took her two sons, Israel, 5, and Samuel, 2, to the creek to play. On her Instagram feed and stories, she documented the day. She mentions how warm the weather is and that snacks and water should always be included on those hot days. Her Instagram post features pictures of her sons playing in the creek. The Duggar daughter also snapped a selfie while sitting in a camping chair, and she’s wearing a sleeveless top, a headband, and sunglasses. The snacks she mentioned are next to her.

After seeing the videos, Jill’s followers aren’t very happy with her. Though whether she uses her phone while driving is her decision, many fans are expressing concern over her kids’ safety. One follower writes, “Please don’t film your boys in the backseat while you drive!!! God forbid your distracted driving causes something terrible to happen. Bless.”

In the comments section of her post, several of her followers are arguing whether the car was stopped while she was recording the videos. Some mention that the scenery visibly passes by. Others think she was at a red light. It’s unclear what the situation was though. Nonetheless, one fan points out that it’s unsafe for her to be on her phone at all while driving, even if she’s at a red light.
Jill has yet to respond to those comments. At this point, she may not reply to them. She did reply to other comments, including one about where she bought a picnic basket that she shows in her stories.
