Stassi Schroeder has a new wedding date. The coronavirus pandemic put her wedding plans to Beau Clark on hold. She teased the details of their wedding on the latest episode of her “Straight Up With Stassi” podcast.
Beau and Stassi originally hoped they would exchange vows for their October 2020 event. But it could be difficult for people to travel out of the country due to the travel restrictions and bans around the world. Stassi revealed that she has another wedding date in mind for their upcoming nuptials.
Podcast host reveals her new wedding date
Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark were to originally wed in Rome, Italy in October 2020. But it doesn’t look like it’s happening. Stassi revealed on the Friday, May 22 episode of her podcast that she doesn’t want to ask her family and friends to travel outside of the country. However, she’s not disappointed with the postponement of her wedding. She has already “lost [her] bridezilla charm,” per Reality Blurb.
“I’m so easy-going now because I don’t care about testing the food,” Stassi Schroeder explained to her guest, Lala Kent. “I don’t care if the flowers are wilted. I just want to get there and once we’re able to get to Rome, I don’t care if only five people show up. The fact that I’ll be able to get there is all I care about.”
Stassi joked that she wouldn’t care if she had “a ratchet wedding in Italy.” Earlier on in Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, she revealed that she had become a bridezilla. Once she got that engagement ring on her finger, she turned into a completely different person. Stassi rattled off her wedding ideas to a scared-looking Beau. But now, Stassi doesn’t care how they get married. She also revealed their new wedding date.
“We’re 99 percent sure that it’s going to be a year from where we planned,” Stassi revealed on her podcast. “So next year, 2021, October.”
Stassi Schroeder defends not wanting to be friends with Kristen Doute
Stassi Schroeder also revealed she felt emotional while watching the Season 8 finale of Vanderpump Rules. The explosive ending showed the end of Witches of Weho. Kristen Doute walked away from Stassi and Katie Maloney-Schwartz after their thousandth argument over her then-boyfriend Brian Carter. Some viewers felt like it was a series finale rather than a season finale.
The podcast host would have felt differently for Kristen if things had played out differently during the virtual reunion.
“I would have been sad if the reunion went a little differently,” Stassi admitted. “But I got so annoyed at the reunion and p***ed off at people that I’m like, ‘F*** this anyway.’ I was like, ‘I’m so sick of people giving me a hard time because I’m not allowed to choose who I want to hang out with.'”
Stassi didn’t appreciate being called a “mean girl” for choosing her friends. But these days, she’s going to own up to it. Over the past few seasons, Stassi and Kristen have grown apart as Stassi starts her new life with Beau by her side.
