Families all over the world are spending time away from each other. This is due to the coronavirus and the social-distancing guidelines in place. As states in the United States begin to open up, some families are getting together once again. There are some fears of a second wave, but families who have practiced social-distancing believe it’s safe to be reunited. The same is true of LPBW star Matt Roloff.

Due to the coronavirus, Matt and his girlfriend Caryn Chandler spent some time in Arizona. The couple hung out there amid the virus and ended up staying for a while. Now that social-distancing guidelines are loosening up, Matt was able to head back home to his family. While he was gone, Matt talked about missing his grandkids. In a new social media post, he reveals that he is reuniting with his family.

The LPBW patriarch documents the reunion in a video. He posted it on Instagram, writing, “After returning home safety from the drive from AZ and then isolating for a few days ..I finally got to see all 4 of my precious grandkids. How fun.”

The post Matt shares includes a video of himself with his two-year-old granddaughter Ember. He and Ember are laughing and playing together in the clip. She seems thrilled to have her grandpa back in town. Matt says he got to see all four of his grandchildren, but he didn’t post photos or videos of Jackson, Lilah, and Bode.

In the post, Matt continues, “Ember and Jackson wouldn’t let me out of their sight today. It was a great day to try and teach what 6 ft looked like. It kinda of worked. Most of the time! We still had fun all day long, very blessed to have a big farm to use to spread out. :))

In response to the post, fans of the Roloff family aren’t very happy. They don’t think that Matt is following the social-distancing guidelines properly. As he mentions in his post, he isolated for a “few days.” In reality, self-isolation is recommended for 14 days following travel. One fan comments, saying, “Cute but irresponsible to come from another state and not isolate first.

Plus, while Matt mentions trying to teach his grandkids what 6 feet looks like, he and Ember are awfully close in the video he shares. So, LPBW fans get on Matt in the comments section. They think that he needs to be more careful so he doesn’t potentially harm his grandkids.

So, are you glad to see Matt’s reunion with his grandchildren? Do you think he followed the guidelines correctly? Share your thoughts below.
