On April 21, 90 Day Fiancé stars Loren and Alexei Brovarnik featured in an Instagram Q&A. Here they speak about their recent arrival, baby Shai. The couple also opens up about their plans for a big family.
However, while longing for a large family, Loren, 31, says they are in no hurry. They want to “enjoy our exhaustion and Shai for a little while for now.” This is easy to understand. after the experience of giving birth and the ensuing sleepless nights.
Shai was born on April 14 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida. In fact, the eager young man arrived a month earlier than anticipated. May was his original date of birth. Loren says in the Q&A they were meant to welcome their baby boy earlier. She tells InTouch Weekly his birth is the “smile and light” needed to get through these difficult coronavirus pandemic times.
Loren continues by saying she and Alexei are “so beyond in love” with Shai and “even more in love with each other.”

90 Day Fiancé couple shares baby’s name
Loren and Alexei waited a week to share their baby’s special name with their fans. On Tuesday, April 21 Loren made the announcement on Instagram. While sharing his given name, Loren explains the meaning of their firstborn’s moniker, Shai Josef Brovarnik.
Loren says “Shai” means “gift,” and he is definitely a gift to them. The name Shai comes from her grandfather, Sam, while Josef is for Alexei’s grandfather.
On seeing images of Shai, many fans commented on how much the baby resembled his father. Some dubbed Shai Alexei’s “mini-me,” while others jokingly asked Loren if she had cloned her hubby.
There were so many comments, Loren joked online she would be rich if she received $1 for every time someone said that. So rich, in fact, she would have more money than Bill Gates! Sticking up for Loren, Alexei said she made Shai from scratch. And, he is definitely his mother’s child.
The couple conceived Shai in Israel
The 90 Day Fiancé pair announced Loren’s pregnancy in October 2019. They were overjoyed and couldn’t wait to meet their first child. According to Loren, the fact he was conceived in Israel makes it even more special for them.
Loren and Alexei initially met in Israel during her Birthright trip. She said she immediately fell in love with the Ukrainian. The couple wed in the USA in 2015 and enjoyed a second ceremony in Israel during 2016.
