‘Tiger King’ News: What Happened to Carole Baskin’s First Husband Jack Donald Lewis?
If you are looking for something to watch on Netflix this week, Tiger King is one you don’t want to miss. Carole Baskin is a very important character on this show. Carole’s first husband Jack Donald Lewis simply disappeared. There are even rumors that she fed him to the tigers.

According to Tiger King, Jack Donald Lewis was a millionaire, but he didn’t want his wife to spend his money. Joe Exotic ended up with her diary and even shared details out of it.
Carole insists that she had nothing to do with her husband’s death or disappearance. On August 18, 1997, Jack went missing and has never been seen again. His van was found in a parking lot at an airport and he didn’t message his family for three days so they reported him missing. Carole said he told her he was going to Costa Rica, which was a normal trip for him. He was never heard from again.

Why do they think Carole killed him?
First off, in her diary, Carole says she wishes she had a way out. Joe Exotic made it clear he thinks that she may have found that way out by killing him in the documentary Tiger King. Two months before his disappearance Joe filed a protective order against his wife saying she threatened to kill him.
As of right now, this entire thing is a mystery. They never found his body and Carole never admitted to doing anything. When her husband was declared dead, she did get his millions to spend. Police did look all over their property and never found anything to cause police to look into his disappearance further.
There was a girlfriend in Costa Rica that could be part of the mystery, as well. Nobody really knows for sure right now. There is no body so it makes it really hard to investigate anything. Carole hasn’t been charged with anything in Jack Donald’s Lewis’ death.
Joe was sure that she killed her husband, but the police never proved that information. Carole is still just enjoying her life. She does admit that people believing this has been a problem for her.
