‘The Bachelor’ Finale: Peter’s Mom Barbara Reveals True Feelings For Madison Prewett
Speechless is a good word to describe Peter Weber’s season finale of The Bachelor. Warning! Spoilers ahead! If you haven’t seen tonight’s show yet, be ready to shake your head in disbelief. While the on and off again relationships were definitely mind blowing, the most shocking was how Barbara Weber revealed her true feelings for Madison Prewett.
Barbara stood up for her son online and in studio
Never doubt a mother’s love for her children. Barbara showed everyone throughout the two night finale that she had Peter’s back and wanted him to make good choices. Who can fault her for that? Well, many don’t agree with how she handled things. She had no problem sharing exactly what she thought of Madison then and now. In fact, Reality Steve shared a message on Twitter that Barbara had sent in Instagram messenger.
Barbara has strong feeling’s towards Madison and with good reason. She shared these thoughts in a DM and also on live television on After the Final Rose. Barbara revealed that on that dreadful day back in Australia when Madison was struggling with Peter being intimate with the other ladies, she kept them all waiting. She also didn’t apologize for the long wait. To add more fuel to the fire, Madison told Barbara she did not love Peter and would not accept a proposal.
Barbara and her family believed strongly that Madison was all about herself and not Peter. She ended the message with “Trust me when I say All that glitters is not gold.”

A Mother will always stand up for her children
On tonight’s train-wreck of a finale, Barbara was obviously not happy Peter ended things with Hannah Ann. She was even more angry and upset when Madison was brought on stage. She clearly does not like her and she definitely let her know.
When asked by Chris Harrison what needed to happen for them to move past this, Barbara shocked the audience with her response. Barbara said her son would have to fail to succeed. She went on to say that everyone knows his relationship with Madison will never work. They are two very different people with different lives.
There is obviously tension among everyone involved. And for someone who says they are in love with Madison, Peter did not look very happy.
