‘The Bachelor’ Peter Weber’s Mom Barbara Speaks Out About Negative Backlash During Finale
Many fans who watched the first part of The Bachelor finale were not very happy with Peter’s mom. Barbara Weber gained lots of negative attention Monday night when fans saw her going head to head with Madison Prewett. Barbara is concerned about the compatibility between Peter and Madison. She also cried multiple times as she tried to tell Peter who she believed was the best fit for him. Barbara made it clear that Peter should choose Hannah Ann Sluss over Madison.
Many praised Barbara while many criticized her actions
People shared that Barbara spoke out on Instagram following last’s night drama. One fan wrote, “Can people please leave her alone! Barb, I think you did the right thing.” Barbara replied saying, “Thanks but I ignore all negatives!!”
Last night many couldn’t believe what Barbara had to say to Madison. She said, “I understand that you’re very religious. Peter, he’s very spiritual, like I’m spiritual. But I just wonder how important it would be for you to have someone that’s on your same level of faith — because [Peter] is completely different. And Peter’s lifestyle, I don’t know if you’re aware of it, but he socializes, he parties.”

They really took to Hannah Ann
Peter’s parents met Hannah Ann prior to meeting Madison and it was two very different days. The family immediately took to Hannah Ann, especially his mom. After meeting Madison, she cried to Peter that Hannah Ann was the right one for him. She told him God placed her in his path.
Barbara said, “You have a perfect girl right in front of you, and you’re going to risk that? Hannah Ann loves you with all of her heart. Don’t let her go. Bring her home. Bring her home to us. We will welcome her with open arms. We will welcome her with all the love in the world. She’s a dream come true, and God has placed her there for you.”
Fans haven’t seen the last of Barbara being emotional either. Previews for tonight’s season finale showed her crying again. However, this time she was crying post rose ceremony. Everyone won’t have to wait long to see what she was crying about this time. Plus, Mike Fleiss says Barbara will be taking the hot seat.
