‘The Bachelorette’: Tyler Cameron Asks For Family Privacy After His Mom Andrea Dies

The Bachelorette fans heard that Tyler Cameron experienced a family emergency and canceled his appearance with Good Morning America. He was lined up to appear at the National Workout Buddy Day in Central Park. Later, news came out that his mom Andrea suffered a heart attack and died. Now, in his tribute to her, he asked for privacy during this sad time.

TV Shows Ace reported that Tyler took to Twitter and canceled the event with GMA on February 28. He rushed home to Florida after his family emergency. Plenty of fans prayed for his mom and for Tyler’s family. But, US Weekly later reported that his mom suffered a heart attack and died. They noted that their source told them Andrea died surrounded by her family. So, we assumed Tyler made it there in time to say ‘goodbye.’

Now, Tyer took to his Instagram and opened up about it for the first time. The Bachelorette star shared a photo of three hands holding his mom’s hand in the hospital. Possibly, those hands belonged to his siblings. Tyler wrote a sad tribute, saying, “Today heaven gained an angel.” Tyler added how much they will “love and miss” her. Andrea had a big influence on the family and Tyler knows she lives on “through us and through those that she …had an impact on.

Next, Tyler asked fans to allow the family to “celebrate her life in private.” He also reminded people that it’s important to tell others you love them. Finally, he thanked everyone for their “love and support.”

Colleagues and friends reach out, including Andy Cohen

Many people from the ABC franchise reached out to him. Among those was Ashley Iaconetti Haibon. She wrote, “I am so incredibly sorry, Tyler. Sending my love. ❤️” Then, Becca Tilley from season 19 of The Bachelor wrote, “Praying for you and your family- I can’t even imagine! ❤️ I’m so sorry for your loss.” Next up, Hannah Godwin from Colton Underwood’s season noted, “Sending all the love yalls way 💛.”

Other friends and colleagues also reach out. One of those was JoJo Fletcher of The Bachelorette. She wrote, “can’t even begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am. Words won’t do it justice but know you have so many people sending prayers and love to you and your family during this time. ❤️” Meanwhile, Tyler’s friend from Bravo, Andy Cohen noted, “I am so sorry for your loss ❤.” Plenty of other celebs also send their sorrow and love to Tyler.
