Is ‘The Bachelorette’ Something Kelsey Weier Is Hoping For?
Kelsey Weier had a crazy beginning on this season of The Bachelor. She freaked out when Hannah Ann Sluss and Peter Weber drank the champagne she’d been saving for a long time. Then, she and Hannah Ann continued their feud with an uncomfortable conversation and Kelsey calling her a princess. As the weeks progressed though, Kelsey leveled out and started to connect with Peter.
After hometowns when her mother told Peter not to break her heart, she was sent home. A lot of people thought it was crazy he sent her home instead of Victoria Fuller. That was especially true because he didn’t even meet Victoria’s family. The disaster that was Victoria’s hometown date wasn’t easy to watch. Kelsey had told him she was in love with him. Now there has been some talk of her being the next in line for The Bachelorette.
Did Kelsey Weier Ever Think Of Being The Next Bachelorette?
Now that the option is on the table, Kelsey Weier says she never planned on being The Bachelorette. When talking to People at the Women Tell All she said, “coming into this, that was never my intent or goal.”
She said The Bachelor was always to see if it could work for her. She thought it was going to work with Peter. About The Bachelorette, she said, “I haven’t been asked and honestly up until I started to figure out my feelings towards Peter, it’s never something that I’ve even thought about.”

The Hometown Went Well For Kelsey
Kelsey Weier seemed to kill the hometown date. Her mom told Peter that it took a lot for Kelsey to love someone. She said, “I’m so shocked that we’re here today, because it proves you’re a very special person. Nobody’s ever done this, Peter. Ever.” She told Peter not to break her daughter’s heart which he ultimately did.
Kelsey thinks her time on The Bachelor was good for her. She said she, “learned a lot about myself and that’s a positive that came from it.” While she thinks there are some things she could have done differently, she doesn’t have any regrets. She said she learned from the experience. Fans will just have to wait and see if she does become the next Bachelorette. The Women Tell All is coming up and should be an interesting evening.
