‘VPR’: Scheana Shay Sides With Kristen Doute In Feud, Says Stassi And Katie Haven’t Been There For Kristen
When Vanderpump Rules premiered eight seasons ago, the friendship between Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute was impenetrable. SUR newbie Scheana Shay was vilified and ignored because of her affair with actor Eddie Cibrian.
All these years later, Scheana still isn’t close to Stassi or Katie or Kristen. However, Stassi and Katie aren’t on good terms with Kristen these days, either. The so-called ‘Witches of WeHo’ are in a feud that many fans fear will end their friendship for good.
Vanderpump Rules Stars Fighting Over Kristen’s Relationship with Brian Carter
Fans were clued in months ago to an ongoing feud between Stassi, Katie and Kristen. However, it wasn’t until Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules began that viewers got a glimpse to the depth of the issue.
All three women confirm that the feud began during the Season 7 reunion when Kristen claimed to be broken up from boyfriend, Brian Carter. However, in reality, she was still living with him, sharing intimate relations and paying his bills.
The exact cause of the argument still isn’t clear, almost halfway through the season. The gist of it is that Kristen feels Katie and Stassi are bad friends for dismissing her when she tried to open up about the break-up.
Katie and Stassi, especially Stassi, feel that Kristen is lying to them by constantly going back to Carter and continuing to let him in her life. Kristen contends that she has always been there for her friends when they needed a shoulder to cry on during relationship struggles. One co-star who does understand is Scheana, Reality Tea writes.
Scheana Takes Kristen’s Side Over Stassi and Katie
The Like a Boss singer has had her fair share of issues with both Katie and Stassi. Scheana is also familiar with rocky romantic relationships, including her short-lived marriage to ex, Mike Shay.
Scheana seemingly takes on a Que Sera, Sera (Whatever will be, will be) stance regarding Kristen and Carter. She says,
“At the end of the day, whatever makes Kristen happy makes me happy, and if Carter’s not making her happy, then you know what? She needs to make that decision on her own.”
She suggests that Katie and Stassi should distance themselves if they don’t like hearing about Carter. And that’s exactly what they have done.
Scheana goes on to back up Kristen’s claim that the other VPR OGs haven’t had her back. According to Scheana, true friends show up for one another. She says no one has been doing that for Kristen.
Is Vanderpump Rules Star Kristen Still with Carter?
TV Shows Ace wrote last month about Kristen’s split with her former boyfriend. When the Bravo reality show was filmed last summer, the two were still trying to work out their problems. Scheana dishes that Kristen is legit single right now. She says,
“Kristen, I’ve known her for a decade. She’s never been single longer than she is right now.”
Scheana notes that the VPR star recently bought her own home and is finally becoming independent. Kristen and Stassi seemingly made up on this week’s Vanderpump Rules, but it doesn’t seem to last, considering Kristen has yet to receive an invite to Stassi’s October wedding.
In the meantime, Kristen is hanging out with her other co-stars, particularly Brittany Cartwright. The friends spent Super Bowl Sunday with VPR newbie Dayna Kathan.

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays on Bravo. Fans can expect more of the ‘Witches of WeHo’ Feud. Longtime friends Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval reportedly also have some kind of falling out later this season.
