Jed Wyatt Slams ‘Bachelor’ Host Chris Harrison, ‘All He Cares About Is the Show’
There is a new Bachelor show coming out in April and host Chris Harrison thinks Jed Wyatt would be perfect for it. The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart is a spin-off combining everything fans love about The Bachelor along with utilizing and testing musical talents. Chris has said for a long time that former Bachelorette final rose winner Jed would be great on the show. Unfortunately, Jed is not thrilled with the comments Chris has made about him.

Jed is not happy with comments made by Chris
US Weekly reported that Jed is simply not happy and quite shocked by remarks from Bachelor host Chris Harrison. Last month Chris had said, “I think he needs a chance to maybe redeem himself, musically and emotionally. I think he bombed on both. It was a tragic ending to his story on so many levels.”
Jed was less than thrilled about those words. Jed responded saying “I’m honestly shocked that Chris has any sympathy at all for me redeeming myself in any sense because he came backstage before I went on the finale and sort of, you know, tried to talk me up and build me up and give me confidence.” He continued saying, “Then he went out to, kind of, tear me down so, for one, I’m shocked to hear that he has any sympathy for me. That just really kind of blows me away — that he cares at all. I mean judging Chris by who he is, all he cares about is the show. That’s who pays him.”

His thoughts on joining the new Bachelor show
In regards to the new show Jed said, “I think the new show’s a great idea and concept but I wouldn’t have gone on the show in the first place if I had a girlfriend and I’m not going to go now because I actually do have a girlfriend.” He continued, “I’m in love. I would never compromise that.”

So who is this new lady in Jed’s life? She is model Ellen Decker. The two were first seen together as a couple back in October. He gushes about her on social media and they seem very happy together. While Jed is happy he does seem to still have some bitter feelings over what played out during his time with Bachelorette Hannah Brown.
In a recent Instagram post, Jed shared a photo of himself and Ellen on the beach. He said, “My actual girlfriend and I enjoy long walks on the beach, the concrete, the grass, the woods, the fields, and through Trader Joe’s. Where do you walk?” Fellow Bachelor alum and friend Dylan Barbour commented on the photo saying, “Yeah sure she is pal.” Jed replied, “@dylanbarbour but I’m go on a show bc that’s what I do when I’m dating someone, you know?”
Of course this all comes after Jed reportedly got engaged to Hannah Brown while allegedly having a girlfriend back home. Hannah found out and the two split shortly after. Now, Jed has finally found happiness with Ellen. He said, “She has brought a whole new level of inspiration into my life. I’ve just never met anyone like her. It just kind of opened the door for a lot of new feelings and emotions in my music that’ll come out in the future, I’m sure. The communication, the love, it’s everything that I’ve ever wanted.”
The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart will premiere on ABC Monday, April 13.
