Layla Rae, we’ve waited for this moment … the final weeks before your arrival. The bags are being packed, your room is almost ready, our nights are sleepless in anticipation! Though there've been days of sickness, days of exhaustion, days of fear, days of anxiety, we recognize that it’ll be worth every experience just to welcome you into our world! Now that we have neared the end of pregnancy, I can only anticipate holding you next to my heart, where you’ll always and forever remain! Though these are new and untrodden waters for us, we look forward to every precious little moment with you! We dream of holding you, singing to you, wiping tears, mending clothes, patching boo-boos, and making special memories that we know will forever change our whole perspective of life! Baby girl, you are forever loved and wished for! And now, we impatiently await your arrival! #maternityphotoshoot #36weekspregnant
The baby was a little bit early, but the couple doesn’t seem to mind. They are just ready for their new role as parents. They had already announced the little girl’s name on Instagram with a post that said, “Layla Rae Stewart, we can’t wait to meet you! #itsagirl #20weeks.”
Why did the baby get here early?
It turns out that the baby was supposed to arrive in the middle of February. Carlin Bates Stewart had to be induced early, though. This was because she found out that she has the same blood-clotting disorder as her older sister, Erin Paine. She had been taking shots during her pregnancy to make sure the baby stayed safe.
So far, the couple hasn’t shared pictures of their little girl on social media. You know they are coming at some point, though.
Don’t miss new episodes of Bringing Up Bates when they air on UPtv. It will be exciting to watch this couple on their new journey as parents.
