Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas includes a sequel and brings us back to a favorite couple. Cherished Memories: A Gift to Remember 2, which had previously been titled, A Gift To Cherish, stars perennial Hallmark favorites, Ali Liebert and Peter Porte. What Is Cherished Memories: A Gift To Remember 2 About?
It has been a year since Darcy (Liebert) ran Aiden (Porte) over with her bicycle, in Cherished Memories: A Gift To Remember. Thankfully, Aiden has no repercussions from the amnesia from this accident. Most of all, the couple is settled into their relationship. They are happy and in love.
For Christmas, Darcy found Aiden the perfect gift. It is a first edition, signed copy of Found in the Street. Written by Patricia Highsmith, this is Aiden’s favorite book. Of course, there is an inside joke. Darcy did find Aiden under her bicycle!
In turn, Aiden is getting creative. He is carving a replica of Darcy’s hometown. This is identical to the one that Darcy’s father made for her mother, and it holds a huge surprise. Although the carving includes the rec center, Darcy’s favorite place, they discover it may close. This sends the couple to do what they can to save this place that is so special to Darcy.
Why You Want To See Darcy And Aiden Again
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Ali Liebert and Peter Porte really believe that fans of the movie want to see where the couple are now. Leibert points out that now the couple will “share their first Christmas as boyfriend and girlfriend.”
Ali Liebert adds that Darcy has a new job as the manager of an “adorable bookstore.” But, her “mission is saving the Liberty recreation center, which is a very sentimental place for her.” She reveals that fans of the original will really enjoy watching the couple interact. Liebert and Porte had a lot of fun filming this Christmas movie. But, she believes that the most important part is the “beautiful message.”

Cherished Memories: A Gift to Remember 2 premiered on Hallmark November 24, with Encore broadcasts on Dec. 15 at 10:03 p.m., Dec. 17 at 4 p.m., Dec. 25 at 9:30 p.m., Dec. 28 at 6 p.m., and Dec. 31 at 2 a.m., all times Eastern.
