Several members of the Duggar family have experience renovating and decorating homes. Some of them even sell homes too.
Well, recently, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth shared that they bought a home. When Joy shared that they had bought a home, the Counting On star said that it has “3 beds and 3 baths and its a very open floor plan!” She continued, “We are just fixing up the basics… flooring, trim, new countertops, & fresh paint!” Joy shared some of her other ideas, including how she hopes to decorate the space. Of course, they’re working on the necessities first.
Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth give home update
On Monday, Joy and Austin gave Duggar fans an update about their work in progress. They shared a post on their shared Instagram page and said, “We’ve got tons of touch up paint to do and a whole lot of unpacking, but so happy to be moved into our home!!”
Then, they continued, “None of our furniture/drapes/decor matches right now and we haven’t got our couches yet, but thankful to be out of the camper before we have another cold front move in!!”
Along with the explanation, they shared a selfie and several pictures of their home. In response to the pictures, fans are saying how much they like the home so far. They still have some work to do, but it’s looking better already. Duggar fans are excited to see what other changes the couple makes going forward. Maybe Joy’s sister Jana will have to use her decorating skills to help the Forsyths out. She seems to be a great decorator and organizer.

They were previously living in a camper
In August, Joy-Anna and Austin shared that they lived in a camper. When they revealed this, they had been living in the camper for about nine months.
It was a nice camper that was well-maintained. They kept it nice and renovated. Of course, Joy wished for a larger home with more space and upgrades. It wasn’t a bad spot for them to live temporarily. And, it definitely didn’t last long at all.
While they were living in the camper, they continued to work on building and renovating homes. At the time, it wasn’t clear whether they were doing this as a home for themselves or to sell.
Now that they have moved to a new house, they seem very happy. They’re getting settled in and continuing to make those renovations.
