‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 8 Extended Trailer: An Arrest, Tension, & New Cast Members
Bravo had a lot of treats in store for fans over the weekend at BravoCon. Panels and photo ops featuring their favorite Bravolebrities were just the start. Reality Blurb reveals that fans got an exclusive first look at Vanderpump Rules Season 8 extended trailer.
The sneak peek trailer released earlier this month shows turmoil amongst the longtime friends in the cast. Close friends Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval argue, as do as BFFs Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Stassi Shroeder.
An extended trailer reveals tense moments for many others, especially the newcomers.
VPR’s James Kennedy’s Drinking Escalates
Vanderpump Rules viewers are keenly aware of James Kennedy’s poor behavior when he is drinking. Fat-shaming Katie ended up getting him fired from his DJ job at SUR. The trailer shows he has a new target, girlfriend Raquel Leviss.
In the trailer, Raquel confides in her co-stars that James called her a “sl*t” when he was drunk. The couple argues in their apartment. Raquel threatens to break up with him if he doesn’t get his act together. This causes James to storm out.
James actually revealed at BravoCon that he is five months sober. At the Vanderpump Rules portion of Andy Cohen’s epic Watch What Happens Live, Lisa Vanderpump told fans they would see James go through a journey this season.

Is Scheana Jealous of the New, Younger SURvers?
Scheana Marie is heavily featured in the trailer fighting with the new SURver, Dayna Kathan. At one point, Dayna asks Scheana if she is jealous of her hooking up with fellow newcomer Max Boyens.
Fans know that Scheana is happily dating rugby player Brock Davies. However, that relationship began after Season 8 filming wrapped up. TV Shows Ace has more about Scheana’s new man.
Scheana engages in a love triangle with her Vanderpump Rules co-stars at the time of filming the show. Viewers can expect to see that play out on-screen this season.
An Unexpected Person Gets Arrested – No, Not Jax
It is usually Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor in jail. Fans will not expect this star getting in trouble with the cops. Tom Sandoval is one led off in handcuffs as his girlfriend Ariana Madix approaches the cops asking “What is this?”
Fans will have to tune in to see why Tom as arrested. They will also get an inside glimpse into Lala Kent and Emmett Randall’s relationship. Lala revealed at BravoCon that Emmett finally agreed to be on the show.
“You’ll actually see quite a bit of [my relationship]. I have no idea [why he caved in]. I have no idea, but I honestly think since last season he was like, ‘We need to show people what our relationship is really like.’
Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules premieres January 7 on Bravo.
