Fans Get An Update From Kendra And Joe Duggar Of ‘Counting On’ About Newborn Daughter Addison
Like all parents of newborns, Kendra and Joe Duggar told US Weekly that they’re a little tired. The couple also has a one-year-old son to take care of as well. The two are settling in with their new addition and have, “quickly adjusted to being a family of four.” Addison came into the world on November 2nd. She was eagerly welcomed by her big brother Garrett who the couple say is loving being the big brother.
Garrett, who is one, is, “very interested in his new sister,” according to Kendra. She said what they haven’t had in sleep they make up for with happiness. The Counting On couple says their new daily activity is staring at her precious face.

Kendra Duggar Is Thrilled Her Kids Are Close In Age
When they announced her birth, it was three days later. The Duggars like to spend a little time bonding before making an announcement. On their family blog they wrote, “Addison Renee has made us a family of four and we are already so in love with her! She made a quick arrival in the early hours of the morning and has already melted our hearts.”
They weren’t worried about adding another small child to the family. Being in the groove of naps and diaper changes with Garrett, Kendra said they would both be busy with little ones. Kendra Duggar shared she was excited to see the relationship form between the two siblings. She said, “I think it’s gonna be fun to see him kind of grow into a big brother and hopefully be a protective and caring older sibling.” She’s happy they are so close in age and can grow together.
The Family Of Four Couldn’t Be Happier
The two also shared their first family picture from home including their two-week old daughter. They look happy and cozy with Garett in a warm sweater and Addison sleeping on Kendra Duggar’s chest. No doubt they’ll continue to share pictures of both children with their fans as they grow and change.
When they found out they were expecting, Kendra Duggar and her husband old Us Weekly they were ready. She said, “We are ready to double the fun at our house! Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone.” They’ve mentioned wanting as many children as they can be blessed with.
