Kendra Duggar Of ‘Counting On’ Admits It Was Hard To Be Excited She Was Pregnant After Lauren’s Miscarriage
When Kendra Duggar found out she was pregnant with her second baby, her sister-in-law Lauren had just lost hers. Kendra and Joe told US Weekly, “We are ready to double the fun at our house. Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined.” Kendra said now that Lauren had a child she didn’t feel as guilty.
She said when Lauren lost her baby she said it was really hard to be excited about being pregnant. Kendra said when she found out Lauren was expecting again, she felt so much better. She said she knew the couple were really hoping for a baby. There was also another loss when Joy-Anna Duggar lost her pregnancy as well. She was twenty weeks along when her baby passed. They named her Annabell Elise meaning God has favored me, God satisfies. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the Duggars have, “very complex views regarding pregnancy, and it seems that Lauren’s situation was regarded as especially sad due to the fact that it was her first pregnancy.” The article went on to say she couldn’t seek solace in raising her older children like Joy-Anna Duggar could.

Kendra Duggar And Joe Welcome Baby Addison
Kendra Duggar and Joe welcomed their second baby Addison Renee. She told US Weekly, “their daughter made them a family of four and they were already so in love.” She said Garrett was going to be a great big brother to his baby sister.
Lauren and Josiah announced their new baby Bella had arrived after a long labor. She said they named her Bella Milagro which means beautiful miracle. She said, “today we are basking in God’s goodness.” Fans noticed the grandparents weren’t so quick to congratulate them and wondered if it was because Lauren had the baby in a hospital. Duggar women usually give birth at home.
Lauren And Josiah Had A Difficult Time
Kendra Duggar was pregnant when she learned Lauren was too and their due dates were a couple weeks apart. Lauren said they’d been trying for a while after the miscarriage and when they found out, they were in shock. It is sad Kendra Duggar didn’t feel like she could experience the joy of her second pregnancy because of Lauren’s sadness. Now, Lauren can seek comfort in her new baby while mourning the loss of her first.
