‘LPBW’: Amy Roloff’s Mom Passes Away – Finds Comfort In Grandkids Jackson and Ember
LPBW fans heard from Amy Roloff that her mom wasn’t very well. Now, she has passed away and it’s a terribly sad time for her and the rest of the Roloff family. However, her grandkids, Jackson and Ember, bring her comfort during this difficult time.

The news that Amy Roloff’s mom Patricia Knight passed away came via People.com. They reported on Monday that the exact details never came out. However, they spoke to Amy who gave her statement: “I am so sad about my mom’s passing but comforted by all the memories I have and that she lived a happy, long life with my father.” Amy added, “She was a great mom. Thank you for all the condolences and well wishes. Life is a gift, appreciate the moments in each day.”
Actually, back in August, Amy shared about her worry that her mom might not be around much longer. On Instagram, the LPBW matriarch said, “I’m not so sure when the next time I’ll get to share a day, a conversation, a meal … w/ my Mom and Dad.” She added, “Sure I’m grateful for the moment I have right now. I’m so thankful I just got to hang out w/ my parents, and just be with them.” And, for her, that time with her folks was even more special as Chris Marek was with her. But, now her mom’s passed on, she’s terribly sad. The grandkids seem to be helping though.

Grandkids Jackson and Ember help to comfort Amy Roloff
Jackson and Ember are fan-favorites of the Little People, Big World show viewers. Of course, Amy dotes on them. Now, during her sad time of mourning her mom’s passing, they bring her great comfort. On her Instagram, Amy shared a photo of the little cutie-patooties. She captioned it with, “It’s been a tough week after hearing sad news. But these two – my grand kids Jackson and Ember – always make me smile and melt my heart. 😊❤️. Simply, Love them so much.” She used the hashtags, #grandkids #imthankful, and #imblessed, before adding, ” “love being a grandma!”
Of course, Amy’s many fans chatted about it in the comments. Meanwhile, some people didn’t know that her mom passed and wanted more details. Rightfully, other LPBW fans told them that social media’s really not the place to ask those sorts of questions. Unbelievably, one follower even started trolling on Amy for calling it “sad news instead of death.” But, one fan said, “we don’t have to know everything to pray and lift each other up.” And that comment was appreciated by fans of the TLC show.
