‘RHONJ’ Star Spotted Without Wedding Ring Amid Husband’s Deportation Hearings
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice may have had enough of the deportation drama. As fans know, her husband, Joe, has been in a deportation center since his release from federal prison.

It’s been a few years since the couple’s legal troubles first began. Here is a brief refresher if you’ve forgotten how Joe ended up facing deportation. Picture it: New Jersey, 2013.
After filing for bankruptcy a few years earlier, the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple was charged with various criminal charges stemming from the bankruptcy hearings. They were both accused of committing mail and wire fraud, bank fraud and bankruptcy fraud. Teresa and Joe eventually pleaded guilty to multiple fraud charges.
Joe was sentenced to 41 months in jail while Teresa got 15 months. The judge allowed them to serve the time separately so one parent could remain home with the couple’s four daughters. Teresa served her time first, but was released after less than 12 months to finish her sentence in home confinement.
After Joe completed his 41-month sentence, he was ordered deported to his native Italy. In early 2019, he was released from prison and transported directly to an immigration detention center. He has spent almost the last year trying to fight his deportation.
(Don’t) Put a Ring On It
Teresa has faced a lot of scrutiny this week. Bravo released the trailer for The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s upcoming 10th season. Joe’s detention and possible deportation are a big focus of the trailer and Teresa’s storyline. At one point, Joe can be heard saying he never wanted to get married.
The Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia, calls her mother out for airing the personal business with her father on television. Gia recently came under fire herself for opening a champagne bottle when she arrived at college, even though she is underage.
Now Radar Online released exclusive photos of Teresa running errands sans wedding ring. There have been rumors for months about problems between Teresa and Joe. In fact, there is speculation that Teresa is already dating another man, Blake Schreck, though neither has confirmed the romance.
Real Housewives of New Jersey Husband Stops Fighting Deportation
After Joe’s bid to be released pending his deportation ruling was denied, he gave up fighting. In court documents filed September 24, Joe requested that his stay lifted, which means he now wants to be deported instead of continuing to fight the deportation.
