Kim Kardashian’s Daughter Handling Snake Strikes Concern Among Fans
A video surfaced of Kim Kardashian’s daughter, Chicago West, playing with a corn snake, striking concern among viewers. It also caused concern for an animal trainer and expert. Chicago looked very comfortable with the snake, everyone else felt nervous.
Kim Kardashian shared the video on her Instagram, stating her daughter was “brave” for so calmly handling an adult corn snake. Wild World of Animals’ Grant Kemmerer explained that this wasn’t a good decision of Kim’s. Even though the animal usually has an “easygoing demeanor.”
Grant Kemmerer Didn’t Think Kim Kardashian Should Have Been So Comfortable
Fans were surprised to see Kim Kardashian so chill with Chicago holding the snake. A video of Kim screeching and trying to avoid a freakout when wild pigs walked by her showed she’s not a fan of wild animals. Snakes have sharp teeth and are feared by many for their quick movement and unpredictability.
“In light of that, I don’t think it’s particularly wise to completely handoff to a child that age,” Kemmerer expressed to Page Six. “A child at this age doesn’t necessarily understand the fine dexterity needed to handle a delicate animal. You can see the child is grasping the snake’s neck/body which can make the snake uncomfortable and there’s a chance the snake could be defensive.”

The Trainer Felt Concern For Chicago And The Snake
Kemmerer also said he felt uncomfortable with the closeness of the snake’s face to Chicago’s. “I’m sure the handler feels confident with the demeanor of his/her animal.” He spoke of the handler assisting Chicago. “As a general rule I would never hand an exotic animal to a child that age, too much could go wrong.” The thing if you check social networks people do it all the time.
Many of Kim Kardashian’s followers were concerned with the way Chicago held the reptile. One comment stating, “Maybe you should teach her how to hold it properly and not fkn hurt it ! Nice job letting ur little kid move and grab a snake in a painful way for the little creature.” As seen in the video, Chicago sort of jerked the snake at times, as a one-year-old would not know how to properly handle such a creature. Others were supportive praising Kardashian for letting Chi try new things. Much praise was seen in the comments of the post, of fans who thought highly of Chi for her bravery.
