DWTS fans waited anxiously for the cast announcement for Season 28 of the show. Finally, the list came out. Now, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, the world championship-winning and Dancing with the Stars ballroom dancer thanks all the fans of the show. Over on his Instagram, he sounds excited and revitalized about the season. He and his wife are featured on the upcoming show once again.
DWTS premieres Sept. 16 on ABC – cast announcement reveals the cast celebs and pros
Good Morning America finally announced the full cast for Season 28 of the show. Popculture reminds us the tragic mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio delayed the original cast announcement date. Now, ET’s Desiree Murphy shared the compete cast of pros and celebs. Karamo Brown’s there, as correctly guessed by fans of the show. However, people who thought Abby Lee Miller might feature got it wrong. And, that’s no major surprise as she’s apparently still quite debilitated from her Burkitt lymphoma.
The pros include Val Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd, Gleb Savchenko, Jenna Johnson, and Cheryl Burke. Then there’s Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Lindsay Arnold, Keo Motsepe, Witney Carson, and Alan Bersten. The final three DWTS pros include Brandon Armstrong, Pasha Pashkov, and Daniella Karagach. Meanwhile, the celeb list brings Lamar Odom, Christie Brinkley, James Van Der Beek, Karamo Brown, and Bachelorette’s Hannah Brown.They are joined by Kel Mitchell, Sean Spicer, Ally Brooke, and Kate Flannery. The final three celebs don’t bring Tyler Cameron as hoped, but we see Lauren Alaina, Ray Lewis, and Mary Wilson.
Valentin Chmerkovskiy shares excitement on IG, thanks fans for support
On his Instagram, Val seems so excited about the show returning again in 2019. He shared, “My wife and I are going to be competing on season 28 of Dancing With The Stars.” He went on to say, “I’m very excited, grateful, and inspired all at the same time.” Val reminded us, “As I’ve said on numerous occasions #DWTS has changed the dance world, and in so doing, changed my life.” He mentioned that other lives changed as well.”
Thanking fans of the show, Val added, “A world of gratitude to our fans and to all the people that make this show possible with their support.” Then speaking to his own fans, he wrote, “I’m excited to show you more of my teaching. He mentioned his”creativity, and the magic…created when two people come together, work together, grow together.” Plus he noted the fun side, as it all happens “whilst enjoying some dance together.”
