Todd Chrisley Shares Details On Relationship With Lindsie Now
It’s not often your daughter accuses you of extortion, but that’s what happened to Todd Chrisley. Lindsie Chrisley from his first marriage left the reality show in 2017 but she’d never felt support from her father and step-mother Julie Chrisley.
When she first got married to her ex-husband Will, Todd had a problem with it. Todd said, “a father has his dreams when he has a child or a daughter that a young man is going to come and knock on the door one day and say, ‘Mr. Chrisley, I love your daughter so much and may I have her hand in marriage?’”
He said because that didn’t happen, there wasn’t respect displayed from Will and it could never be forged. Chrisley said, “Lindsie should have never condoned that kind of disrespect. I don’t believe that people disrespect you unless you allow it.”
Todd Chrisley And Lindsie Chrisley Have Publicly Fought
Lindsie and Todd Chrisley weren’t keeping their rift secret from the public. Todd called Lindsie a catalyst for the investigation he underwent for tax invasion. According to Life and Style, after that, he didn’t think the relationship could be salvaged.
Lindsie then went on to say that her brother Chase Chrisley bought a tape of her being intimate with Robby Hayes. She alleged a puppy cam caught the footage but her brother and Todd meant to buy her silence with the tape.
These are allegations that have been denied. Julie Chrisley said they had no correspondence with Chrisley, but they wished her well.
What Did Todd Say About Their Relationship Now?
Todd Chrisley was more favorable speaking about Lindsie in a recent interview. He said, “I believe that God is the great healer and revealer and Lindsie is my daughter and I love her, and I will love her till the day that I die. He went on to say now that they are in a good place they’re keeping details private.
Lindsie has gone through a lot with her relationship. She and thirty-one-year-old Will split up after eloping. She was accused of cheating on him with Robby, the same man from the tap her family allegedly wanted to use against her.
In July, Lindsie split for the second time from Will, 31, after having an on-again, off-again relationship since eloping in 2012. The couple got back together more than once before finally calling it quits. Todd wasn’t satisfied with their relationship from the beginning. For his part, Todd never saw it going well.
