Christine and Kody’s daughter removed herself from drama
The Brown family drama has viewers hooked on Season 16. Christine and Kody’s daughter, Ysabel, found herself in the middle of the plural family’s issues. In a recent episode, her dad explained why he couldn’t accompany her to New Jersey for her serious back surgery. The youngest has been battling scoliosis for years and finally decided to have surgery.
However, due to COVID concerns, Kody Brown was unwilling to quarantine away from his other wives and children long enough to travel with Ysabel.
The season of Sister Wives currently airing on TLC was filmed in late 2020. So, viewers may be deep in the drama, but Ysabel has removed herself from it.
She revealed on her social media in August that she moved to North Carolina to stay with her sister Maddie Brown Brush (Kody and Janelle’s daughter.) Ysabel shared a photo with Maddie’s daughter, Evie K.
In November, Christine officially announced her split from Kody Brown. However, Ysabel clearly isn’t letting her parents’ split affect her life.

Ysabel will turn 19-years-old in just a few months. She is currently enrolled in a college near where she lives in North Carolina. The Sister Wives daughter rarely posts on Instagram.
However, her followers recently got a treat when the college student shared a stunning selfie that showed off how much she looks like her mom.
Taken in a car, Ysabel sweetly smiles into the camera, her freckles on full display. She didn’t add any caption or words to the photo, letting the photo speak for itself.
Sister Wives stars keeping secrets from family patriarch
Like mother, like daughter? Ysabel and Christine were both keeping secrets from Kody Brown during Season 16 of the show. However, both Sister Wives stars revealed their secrets on camera during one-on-one confessional interviews, which Kody was sure to see when the show aired.
Christine didn’t tell Kody about Ysabel’s plan to get a tattoo to cover her scoliosis surgery scar. The Sister Wives mom reasoned that her daughter would soon be old enough (Ysabel was 17 at the time) to get the tattoo without permission. It’s unclear if Kody’s third wife ever did fess up or if she let him find out while watching the show.
As for Ysabel, she had her own secret with sister Truely. The twosome copped to not following the six-foot social distancing rule their dad enacted during the COVID pandemic.
