‘Below Deck Med’ Hannah Ferrier Would Return Under ONE Condition

Hannah Ferrier talked about a possible return to the show. As Below Deck Med fans know, Captain Sandy Yawn fired her during Season 5. Boatswain Malia White found an unregistered prescription for the anti-anxiety medication Valium and a CBD pen in Hannah’s belongings. After a fight over bunk arrangements, Malia turned in the items to Sandy.

The captain called Hannah to her office, to which she fired her on the spot. The chief stew lost her job, which caused a heated debate among the cast and viewers at home. Most felt that Hannah should’ve not been fired since Sandy and production were aware of her history with panic attacks.

Would she ever return to Below Deck Med?

It’s safe to say that Hannah and  Sandy’s relationship is no more. She even rejected the Below Deck Med star’s baby shower gift. Hannah and Sandy exchanged words through their individual interviews. In fact, things got so bad on board that producers had to step in and play mediators.

Hannah is free from her stressful job. While she’s not a fan of Sandy, she still has a lot to thank her for. She’s been enjoying her life as a new mom since leaving the Bravo show. She has launched many business ventures since then.

The Aussie made an appearance on the Behind The Velvet Rope podcast to chat with host David Yontef. Hannah shared an update on her life after appearing Below Deck Med. She also talked about her current Bravo obsessions, most of which is the Real Housewives franchise. Of course, David asked Hannah if she would consider a return to the show.

“I am really enjoying right now because I feel like with my company Ocean International Training Academy,” Hannah Ferrier said about her online yachting school. “It’s almost like I am living vicariously through like my little ducklings who go off and go traveling and work on yachts and things like that. So, it’s really nice to be like at home but still feel like I am part of the community.”

Hannah Ferrier would only return if it’s a different show

Hannah also addressed her future with the Below Deck family. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she filmed with the new cast of Below Deck Australia. She met the new captain, which she immediately clicked with. Hannah said that she would work with either the new captain or with Captain Lee Rosbach if given the chance.

Below Deck Mediterranean is no longer an option for her unless Captain Sandy left the show. Bravo confirmed that Season 7 is currently in production. Sandy will remain on the show since her tour is scheduled for early 2022. Stew Courtney Veale and deckhand Mzi Dempers are also rumored to return.
