‘Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Verbalizes Her True Disgust For Kody
Sister Wives star Christine Brown can’t hide her true disgust for Kody. See why she’s upset with her former husband.
Estranged Sister Wives couple butt heads before split
Not much has changed in the new season of Sister Wives. Kody and third wife, Christine, are still at odds over her desire to move back to Utah. Meanwhile, Kody and the other wives – Meri, Janelle, and Robyn – are plotting out the Coyote Pass land.
Since Season 16 was filmed in late 2020, viewers already know the outcome of some of the Brown family dramas. Christine and Kody’s daughter, Ysabel, successfully underwent back surgery for her scoliosis. In the December 5th episode, viewers will see Kody explain to his daughter why he can’t accompany her for the operation.
Additionally, Christine Brown confirmed a few weeks before the season premiere that she and Kody split up. She did end up moving back to Utah and fans think she’s happier than ever.
But what viewers don’t know yet is how the split went down. That will play out as the season continues. A slew of new promo clips shows Kody and Christine’s relationship deteriorating. What made Christine show absolute disgust for her former partner?
Christine Brown can’t hide her true disgust for Kody, calls him an ‘a**’
TLC often shares teaser clips on their social media. A new promo shared on their Twitter account reveals Christine reach a new level of disgust for Kody. The footage begins with a flashback to an earlier conversation where Kody reprimands his third wife about her hope that they will move back to Utah. “Did you think everyone else was going to feel the same way about moving back?” he taunts as Christine breaks down crying.
Flash forward to a new discussion where Kody attempts to apologize for his previous harsh comment. “I was trying to be stoic and I feel bad. I want to say I’m sorry” he tells her. At the time, Christine thanked him for an apology.
However, she has a lot more to say in a one-on-one confessional. She gets fiery, showing her true reaction to Kody’s harsh comments. “What is this stupid word he’s using – stoic?” she snarks.
“Bulls**t!,” she exclaims.” Her then-husband “was an a@@” to her, she tells the cameras.
The trust is gone, now what?
Further in the discussion, Kody hints that he was talking to his other wives about moving back to Utah. In a confessional, Christine EXPLODES at this. “Why is he going behind my back or whatever,” she says. “I don’t know what part of him to believe.”
Christine isn’t the only one who saves her true feelings for the confessionals. While Kody was apologizing to Christine’s face, he was also showing another side of himself, slamming her for not listening. “This is a woman who hasn’t heard us all say no,” he says.
It’s clear from the clips that they are not on the same page anymore.
