Nurse Tisa Makes Excuses For Tammy Slaton’s Exercise Refusal
A new preview of 1000-Lb. Sisters has dropped on YouTube by TLC featuring Tammy Slaton refusing to exercise with Nurse Tisa. Nurse Tisa explains to the camera that she is on a mission to get the TLC personality out of her wheelchair.
The goal is to get Tammy up and walking to the mailbox. Unfortunately, Tammy shuts the idea down as “crazy.” The confrontation ends with Tammy shutting down. Nurse Tisa admits she has theories on Tammy’s refusal. But, is she just making excuses for the TLC star?
Nurse Tisa begs Tammy Slaton to get up and walk
Nurse Tisa spends most of the clip trying to get Tammy up and walking around. She suggests going to the mailbox. When Tammy shuts her down, Nurse Tisa asks how exactly Tammy is going to put her bathing suit on and go to the pool when she can’t even get up and go to the mailbox. Tammy Slaton was quick to shut down suggesting that she wasn’t even interested in going to the pool at this point.
In a bit of a sidebar, Tammy tells the producers that Tisa pushing her is just going to backfire and cause her to shut down. By the end of the clip, that was pretty much what happened. Tammy folded her eyes, looked off to the side, and refused to speak to Tisa anymore.
Home health aide makes excuses for the TLC star
Getting nowhere with Tammy, Nurse Tisa shifts gears to do other things around the house. She also spends some time talking to the producer. Nurse Tisa starts off by explaining her goal to get Tammy out of that wheelchair is for her sister Amy. Amy Halterman encouraged Tisa to push Tammy and really stick to her guns. Nurse Tisa explained she’s just trying to follow orders.
The home health aide presents a few reasons and potential excuses on behalf of Tammy Slaton. She speculates that the TLC personality is actually scared or embarrassed. She imagines it isn’t easy to deal with the feelings associated with not being able to walk very far before getting winded. Nurse Tisa imagines it is hard for Tammy to swallow her pride and get up.
1000-Lb. Sisters fans consider Tisa to be an angel. They have no idea how she’s composing herself while putting up with Tammy’s nasty attitude. They hope Tisa can fix Tammy. But, they suspect this is really just hospice care for the TLC personality.

Tammy will never change ! She’s a self entitled brat who blames everything on everyone else but herself…..she’s been offered help from everyone but yet continues to live her lazy slovenly ways and tries to guilt everyone in to why she ‘fails’ . You can’t help those who won’t help themselves and Tammy has got no intention of helping herself….she wants everyone to do everything for her . She’s selfish, she’s nasty and she’s jealous.
People need to stop pandering to her ! She’s well aware of the risks she’s taking with her life, yet she still will not put in any effort, I’ve got no sympathy for her !
