Lots of new questions are popping up about Josh Duggar’s conviction and alleged crimes. While the trial is handled in court, and the truth is on its way to being exposed, fans and critics have questions. They are interested in learning about Josh’s potential sentence if he’s convicted.

He is being charged with one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. As we’ve reported, Josh could spend up to 40 years in jail. Each count would give Josh up to 20 years behind bars, as well as up to $250,000 in fines.

We still don’t know whether Josh will end up in prison. The trial will continue into next week, and we will hopefully get answers soon. In the meantime, fans are asking more questions about the whole situation.

Josh Duggar Conviction: Where Might He Go?

In a new social media post, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball speculates about the prison Josh could go to. She explains that Josh and his wife, Anna, wouldn’t be able to have conjugal visits if he’s in a federal prison.

Katie writes, “S*x offenders are generally housed in Medium Security Prisons. Where Josh is housed will depend on the length of his sentence. Prisoners with longer than a 30 year sentence are placed in High Security Facilities. Prisoners with less than 30 years are eligible for Medium Security, those with less than 20 years could be eligible for low security.”

Then, she continues, “According to the Federal Bureau of Prisoners, s*x offenders are generally housed at facilities that offer S*x Offender Treatment Programs. Unless ordered by the court, these programs are voluntary.”

Katie believes Josh will go to a medium-security facility. The medium-security facilities in the United States include FCI Petersburg (VA), FCI Marianna (FL), and USP Marion (IL)

At this point, there are still many questions to be answered in the courtroom in the coming days. To know for sure where Josh could end up, we will just have to wait and see what happens. But he won’t be in Arkansas, so this will limit Anna’s interactions with her husband. Plus, they won’t be able to have conjugal visits.

So, would Josh Duggar’s conviction shock you or are you expecting it at this point? Did you think he would be in Arkansas? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. For more news about the Duggar family, come back to TV Shows Ace.

  1. Jail time will not Change anything. Prayer and change in heart to follow JESUS is what is needed. Sin is Sin and we all sin daily, JESUS is a God of love and forgiveness,I will be praying that Josh gets the help he needs and I pray for his wife and kids and all the Dugger family members. God is good all the time.

  2. Please don’t use katie Joy as a source for the legal issues. She’s not a lawyer or legal expert, her content is mostly gossip.IMHO Emily Baker would be a much better choice

  3. The hypocritical way we deal with sex and sex crimes in this country is appalling. Prison isn’t the answer for non-violent crimes…house arrest and mandatory therapy would be much more appropriate. Duggar himself never physically hurt anyone yet they want to throw him into a wolf pack…and I say that as someone who has no sympathy with his politics or what his family represents in general.
