Lifetime’s ‘A Picture Perfect Holiday’ Puts A Frame Around Christmas
It’s A Wonderful Lifetime continues their first official 2021 holiday movie weekend with A Picture Perfect Holiday. This stars Tatyana Ali (Young and The Restless, Jingle Belle), Henderson Wade (The Last Ship, Riverdale), Dina Meyer (All American, Starship Troopers), Paula Andrea Placido (Shameless, The Resident), and Rivkah Reyes (Bad Animal, School of Rock).
What Is Lifetime’s A Picture Perfect Holiday About?
This Lifetime movie promises to capture the perfect holiday image. What is it about? Fashion photographer Gaby Jones (Ali) is eager to make a name for herself and finally gets her chance when she lands a coveted job at a magazine.
Encouraged by an editor (Meyer), she attended the annual Christmas Photography Retreat in the small town of Pine Falls. Gaby figures she can work on ramping up her skills.
However, Gaby is not a big fan of the holidays. Her frustration ramps up when she arrives. Turns out, her rental has been double booked. The other renter is Sean (Wade), who is a wildlife photographer. Moreover, she meets him as he is coming down the stairs clothed only in a towel!
Pretty soon Gaby learns there is more to photography than point, click, and find the light. Sean shares some of his magic behind the lens. He is also into Christmas. Pretty soon, Gaby finds herself getting into the holiday spirit. This opens her up to possibilities. Maybe even a bit of love, too!
As the two fall for each other, their life choices start to get in the way. Pretty soon, the two must decide if they’re willing to take a risk in order to share a picture perfect holiday together.
The movie also includes an original song sung by Tatyana Ali.
